🔥 Last Week of Season 1… and we’re ready for Season 2! 🔥

What a brilliant finish to Season 1 at the Junior Darts Academy! 🎯

A massive well done to all our juniors who took part in the grading last week — the effort, focus, and improvements we’ve seen across the group have been unreal. You should all be proud of yourselves 👏👏

This session we worked on: ✅ Bullseye focus — tightening up aim and “dialling in” the throw
✅ Checkouts from 60 down — building confidence and getting those quick wins 🏁

The progress from week one to now has been amazing, and we can’t wait to kick on into Season 2 with even more development, games, and match practice.

Season 1 – Week 7 at Hornchurch Junior Darts Academy (HJDA) 🎯

Week 7 was all about getting sharper at the business end of a leg — and you could really see the improvement as the session went on! 👏

This week’s focus:
✅ Finishing with 2 & 3 dart checkout combinations
✅ Setting up finishes by thinking ahead and leaving the right numbers
✅ Accuracy work using the rings and tape targets to tighten up grouping

We kept the pressure on with loads of finishing practice, working through different 2- and 3-dart routes and learning how one good dart can set up the next two. The aim was simple: give yourself a chance at a double — and everyone had plenty of chances! 💪🎯

To finish the session, we brought the energy with Football Darts ⚽🎯 — and it wasn’t just about hitting big numbers. There were some brilliant trick shots, clever angles, and lots of laughs, while still keeping the main goal in mind: control and accuracy.

Massive well done to everyone for the effort and focus again this week — the progress is building session by session. Keep practicing those finishes and thinking one throw ahead! 🔥🎯

Another brilliant session as grading continued — well done to everyone on all the gradings so far 👏

They took the win in a really close final against Henry G, who played without a partner — amazing effort and a great match all round! 🙌

✅ Squaring up throws to set up and leave doubles

Season 1 – Week 4 at Hornchurch Junior Darts Academy 🎯

Another brilliant session with our 6–17s! We saw some fantastic darts thrown and, just as importantly, a great atmosphere with everyone chatting, mixing and supporting each other.

✅ Grading is now underway — some groups have already started, and we’ll be continuing next week as more players begin their grading.

Huge well done to all the juniors who took part yesterday 👏

🎯 Hornchurch Junior Darts Academy – Last session of the year! 🎯

That’s a wrap for 2025 at HJDA — our final day before the New Year. What a strong start we’ve had since launching in October, and it’s been brilliant seeing the progress, confidence, and commitment from everyone involved.

As we head into 2026, the focus is clear: ✅ Grading and development
✅ Getting more match practice
✅ Playing more tournaments
✅ Raising standards and pushing on even further

Massive thank you to all the players, parents/guardians, and supporters who’ve helped us build something special already — and we’re only just getting started.
