This is my client Kelly! 💁🏼‍♀️

She has been working with me on my online coaching program for 6 weeks now.

She reached out to me when I announced I was taking on online clients and was interested as we had worked together before and got good results. 

Her main goal was to lose weight and she needed me to keep her accountable.

She knew what to do, she just struggled to do it consistently over time, which meant she would “Yo Yo” diet. 🪀 

Since starting our program, she has met her daily targets without fail, which has led her to lose a decent amount of weight in a fairly short space of time.

Kelly has just started on this journey and she is so thankful that she did.

Because now she not only has hope that she will get to where she wants to be in the next couple of months, she can literally see it panning out in front of her.

Everything is going to plan and she will continuously lose weight at this rate throughout the next year until she is completely happy and comfortable with the way she looks and feels. 💃🏼

At that point, we are just going to maintain and focus on her performance goals.🤸🏼‍♀️

Today is my birthday! 🎉

I am taking a moment today to reflect on what I have been able to achieve and where I want to go in life. 👣

Mid 20’s are a weird age, a lot of responsibility and pressure to get your life together in a fairly short space of time. ⚡️

I have made some big decisions that changed my life dramatically in the last 3 years and the build up to that was pretty intense too. 😬

I am thankful for everyone and everything that I have in my life. 🙏🏼

I appreciate all the love and support I’ve been given since starting this page and my new career path! 🏋🏻‍♂️ 💻

It’s really easy to con ourselves into thinking the things we want are just too hard to achieve.

“I’ll never be able to lose that much weight”

“I’ll never be that muscley”

“I’ll never have abs”

Even if we do believe it’s possible to do, we think it’s just so far out of reach that it’s not even worth it!

I’m here to tell you it’s not out of reach and whatever you want to achieve is worth achieving!

If you want to achieve your fitness goal but don’t really believe you can, hit me a message saying “I’m ready!”

Well all 3 would be correct 😂

But every cloud has a silver lining! This picture proves that people will go to great lengths to show off on Instagram.

It starts off with a log 🪵

Before you know it we’re all getting lip fillers 👄 and developing lordosis 🍑

What’s the message? 💌

Grow up and realise no one cares about your f*cking log 😂

Post content that matters and that may help someone overcome an obstacle in their life.

Don’t do it for the gram, do it for you and the vision you believe in 💫

Here’s a training hack that will help you train harder for longer without putting in any effort! ❌😤

*I am not sure on the exact science 🧪 behind this, I only know by experiences I’ve had and thought you might find this useful.

So one day I felt really s**t and didn’t want to train (this wasn’t because of over training, this was because of going too long without it!).

I decided to jump on an exercise bike, put it on a really low setting and put little to no effort into it 🚴.

After about 5 mins, my legs were literally pedalling for me. There was no conscious effort, and I was going pretty fast!

I turned the dial up to make it harder, applied the same principle, no effort* and again after 5 mins, I was pedalling fast 💨 without even trying.

I think this is something to do with getting past the warm up phase and your body releasing adrenaline + other hormones.

But I couldn’t believe it 🤭!

I had just accidentally stumbled upon this hack to put absolutely no effort into my cardio and I was somehow doing better than I would usually have done putting in effort.

I could ride at a much faster pace for a lot longer than if I had been forcing it with max effort.

I have tried a similar thing with resistance training and had similar results 🏋🏻‍♂️.

So there you have it, sometimes less is definitely more! 💡 You don’t need to bust your ass 🍑 when working out (unless you like that sort of thing ).

I hope you try this out for yourself and that your body has the same response! ⚡️

Mindset shift

When you make the decision that you are ready to take your life into your own hands by eating, living, sleeping and training right, it is a huge mindset shift which takes a lot of internal work.

You have to be disciplined, focused and motivated.

All that being said, it’s actually quite a lot of fun!

You prioritise what’s important to you, you make sacrifices that are worth making and you feel like you are becoming the best version of yourself.

You start to realise that your quality of life is improving, you feel lighter, stronger and happier.

You look in the mirror and you’re not thinking about going on a crash course diet.

You think back to how you used to feel and realise that you’re a totally different person now.

You’re happy and living your best life, all because you hired a coach, implemented some simple but effective habits into your lifestyle and decided you didn’t want to feel that way about yourself anymore.

This is Mahfooz’s transformation after 12 weeks.

When he first came to me, he was scared for his health as he had just been diagnosed as pre diabetic.

He was told by his doctor that he needed to start doing some physical exercise and make some alterations to his diet.

He made the decision that rather than trying to go after it alone he would hire a coach.

He found my profile, reached out and after the initial consultation we got to work straight away.

He was keen from the start and did everything I asked of him in terms of his training and nutrition.

He lost 8kg of body fat, put on lean muscle, got rid of his pre diabetic status and felt like a brand new man.

What is Online Coaching and how can it benefit you?

Here’s how it works step by step from the initial consultation to the end result:

During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, where you are at right now and what barriers you may face along the way.

We will set you micro goals each week with an end goal in mind to achieve within a realistic time frame.

We’ll then put together a plan which will best suit you based on your lifestyle and any other factors that may play a part in getting you to your end goal.

You’ll have access to your program through my own fitness app which will enable you to see your daily tasks, workouts, nutrition and you’ll be able to message me whenever you like about any problems you may be having.

I usually reply within the same day if not instantly but if I’m busy or it’s out of my working hours I’ll always reply within 24 hours.

We’ll have weekly check ins to see how you are getting on with the program and to monitor your progress.

We’ll adapt the program as we go if things aren’t 100%, we will tweak some things to ensure you get results.

We’ll continue this process until we achieve your desired outcome at which point you will be looking and feeling amazing!

30kg Milestone! What a difference 4 months can make.

Frankie was always a big lad growing up, we originally met in 2019, he wanted to lose weight and start boxing with me.

He properly started his weight loss journey in March 2021.

He had had dabbled with intermittent fasting and exercised a lot whilst playing sports such as Rugby, Boxing and Cricket but hadn’t seen a significant drop in weight.

We discussed what he would need to do in terms of tracking his calories and steps and he took it with both hands and started to run with it!

He even had a month of inactivity within these last 4 months due to a toe operation and was still able to maintain his weight during that time.

He knows exactly what he wants now and is going to continue to strive for that!

Frankie is a testament to what anyone can achieve with the right guidance and mindset.

Chasing a physique never made me happy.

That’s why I am not your typical bodybuilding PT who takes loads of topless selfies posing in front of the mirror on Anabolics.

What makes me happy is helping people who have struggled their entire lives with weight issues, turn it all around to lead a healthy, happy and fulfilling life.

What makes me happy is helping men and women build strength and confidence, lifting things they never thought they could lift before.

What really makes me happy is the feedback I get from my clients when they are smashing PB’s and looking/feeling amazing in their clothes after buying an entire new wardrobe because their clothes don’t fit them anymore.

I think Instagram can be a really s**tty place sometimes, it can make us all feel inadequate. Like we’re not good enough just the way we are.

Being happy, healthy and fulfilled is the best goal you could set for yourself.

Everything outside of that doesn’t really matter too much.

So proud of ! What a great way to finish her first month of online coaching!

Me and Kelly have been friends since secondary school, so we go way back. We actually worked together before when I first started as a Personal Trainer at in 2017.

We had great workouts together and she learnt a lot which helped to develop her confidence and ability to use the gym! But I was unable to help her lose significant weight at that time due to my lack of coaching experience.

Fast forward four years later, Kelly reached out to me as she liked the idea of working with me online to help keep her accountable and drop some weight.

This time round, we developed a plan together with the goal of losing around 1kg per week.

The first couple of weeks were trial and error, trying to understand the right amount of steps, calories and exercise she would need to drop that amount of weight on a weekly basis.

We started off by losing 0.3-0.8g now after some tweaks we got the calculation right and hit our first 1kg week!

From going to school together, to training together and now coaching her online it has been quite a ride!

Kelly is so confident and determined to hit her goals every single week, whatever I send her way she does it without exception, in truth she is the perfect client ☺️.

Great job Kelly 👏🏼 Aaaand we are just getting started!
