Yesterday we played a game on stories where you had to guess which 2 of 6 facts about me are FALSE 😉.

🤍I thought I’ll leave these few interesting facts about myself here on the feed so more of you can get to know me better .

✅ I was noticed by a big brand and offered to become their trainer - yes that was the best opportunity I could ever get . Thank you
❌ I never worked in a salon - that’s false ))) my first ever job after I moved to London was working on the best lash salon. I was working there for 3 or more years and it was amazing.
✅ I was living in a room with no windows and called it “bunker” -yes that’s true , there is a post on my IG about it.
✅ I am a speaker for beauty conferences - yes that’s true. To be honest I love being on the stage, sharing useful information, motivating you and sharing great vibes.
❌ I have a daughter- that is false. I am a mother of 2 little boys , a toddler and a newborn. My dream came true))) I am the only princess in the house, and the king can look after his princess 🤭.
✅ over the past 10 years I work as a lash artist - that is true. My career in the beauty industry started 10 years ago. Since then I have a huge passion for lashes, and for the past 5 years I developed an obsession for eyebrows.

To be honest, I don’t feel confident in talking about myself, always thinking that this isn’t interesting and actually “who cares” 🙈.

You tell me, should a blogger bring up their life and personality, or only keeping professional content is best? 🤔

🤔I can choose who to work with.

This post is about rules.

In any business there have to be some rules.
Rules mean discipline and help you achieve better results🙌.

I while ago I decided to implement some basic but important rules of when I work with my students:

1️⃣ inform me about any health conditions that could interfere with the treatment you are going to learn.
If for example you eyesight isn’t good at all, you will not be able to focus on tiny small eyebrow hairs that need to be removed with tweezers.
Or if you suffer of a condition that makes your hands very shaky - you will not be able to control the toll and safe application of chemical solutions we use.
I can help you save your money if you inform me on time.

2️⃣ complete the homework- why investing in a course, then turn into a lazy princess?
By submitting homework and receiving relevant feedback you are improving your skills and learn how to see the mistakes yourself in the future, and know how to correct them.

3️⃣ desire to do good job!
That’s right, I cannot make it for you. It is only you who can achieve the goal.
From my side I share all information and all my secrets - from your side , the desire to do good job.

I am a caring person and I am building relationships based on trust and respect with my students🤍.

🕵🏻Is it possible to learn eyebrows online?
(As a beginner or upgrade your skills)

I received this message from one of my followers and I thought this is a great question.

Some of the fears of learning online are:
- How will the information be delivered
- Will the quality of the content be good
- Does the course have a good structure
- How do you know of the course is good
- Will you receive support and feedback
- Can you show your work to the trainer
- Will I understand the techniques.

As an online student myself, I know really well how is that to attend an online course and not get what you expected 🙈.

✅The key criteria of a good online training are:
- well structured material
- Detailed video lessons
- Detailed video demonstrations
- Demonstration of products
- Demonstration of techniques
- Feedback on homework
- Students support chat
- Live q&a video sessions

🕵🏻This is why, as an experienced trainer I was creating my course following all these aspects of a comfortable and efficient online learning.

Tomorrow on my stories I will do a full analysis of a set of brows so that you can “taste” how is that to be my online student 👩🏻‍💻.

Continuing today’s stories ❤️Why I am obsessed with what I do…

I’ll be honest with you…
At the beginning I was literally hating eyebrows because I couldn’t understand how do you make those eyebrows even, how do you mix that tint correctly, why do you have to wipe it with a damp cotton and - the most terrifying was “showing the mirror “ to the client 🙈 😅.

🎯 My goal was to make the most beautiful brows and offer the most correct and safe treatment to my clients.
To get that satisfaction of a good treatment I’ve done 🤤.

I couldn’t stop learning, I wanted to know it all.
OMG you should see me staying late many evenings 🥱 rewatching the trainings I was attending and trying to understand each bit, each single detail was so important 👌.

This is how I personally learn 🤝- I need to understand the theory very well. Let it sit in my head🧘🏻‍♀️transfer it to how I do things and visualise it in my work 😻.
Then try it once⛹️‍♀️. Try it twice⛹️‍♀️. Then 3-4-…-9 times until it clicks 🤾‍♀️.

Because I need it to be easy 🍃 I don’t like complicated things.
🧚🏻‍♀️This is one of my obsessions while teaching you eyebrows - to make you easily understand the complicated things.
❤️Brows are not complicated if you get it right and you have the right mentor by your side.

Top mistakes of my competitors

This post is not about praising myself but I just wanted to point out some aspects about other trainings my students attended (thank you for sharing your experience).

1️⃣😑 training bundle - this might sound as a great offer but when I see adverts of “take my classic and volume lash course and receive henna brows course as a bonus “ 😲 and all this in 2-3 days 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Let me be clear about it: both treatments (lashes and brows) are difficult enough 🤔 and each training needs at least 2-3 months in between for the student to understand and practice that skill.

Basic example: immagine you put in one plate a steak 🥩 , soup 🍲 and a cake 🧁- smash and mix it all together- eat it 🤦🏻‍♀️.

💁🏻‍♀️Veronica’s method- I alway recommend to my students to take it easy, one at a time, practice with patience, wait for my feedback and enjoy beautiful results. You need time to grow the passion for it. 😉

2️⃣No passion for teaching - they just decided to become a trainer because it can brings them more money.
🙅🏻‍♀️unfortunately this happens very often. Usually those are relatively cheap courses and trainers are having huge lack of knowledge. Most of the times these courses will also be quite short.

💁🏻‍♀️Veronica’s method - if you ever attended a course with me you know how much attention to details I put. I am trying to pass you my passion and love for the subject I teach so that you go home MEGA motivated to start working and practicing immediately.

3️⃣ basic feedback for students work - I was in this situation myself, when my trainer’s feedback was like “copy paste” same message for everyone.
Feedback is so important- students achieve much better results when they receive a detailed feedback of their own work. They know what to focus on and bring you.

💁🏻‍♀️ Veronica’s method- if you ever attended a training with me, you know how my feedback looks like 😅 long and detailed message, accompanied with pictures, screenshots and videos - everything to bring you to the results.

🛑OOPS, this is happening often to brow lamination beginners ( and advanced artists).🖐🏼

🌪Short answer: If the brow hairs are getting too dark, it will not fade in 2 days. The hairs will stay dark until complete renewal and that is about 6 weeks. (find my reels where I show you what product to use to remove the artificial pigment).
And Yes, the colour will fade off the skin in 2-3 days.

🔥🔥🔥Long anwer:

1️⃣The first mistake brow artists make is they forget they undergo 2 chemical treatments at the same time: laminating and tinting. 👀 Immagine you are having 2 facial chemical peels done the same day. How will your skin feel? Probably it will all come off the next day 👎🏻.

2️⃣ because of reason 1 , the brow hairs are now going to crave some moist and hydration and instantly absorb any following product you apply💧. Because you apply the tint - of course you will get darker brows as the colour is going much deeper in the hairs.

3️⃣You need to know the colorimetry rules🌈, understand the base colour of your product and then decide when and what to mix. 🌈Often the base colour in graphite is 💜 or 💙. Did you need to neutralise a specific colour when deciding to use this mix?
