PLAYER OF THE MATCH 🏆

Evie was an absolute star last time out at home to Spilsby earning her the player of the match award.
Evie worked hard for every minute she was on the pitch chasing balls down, not being scared to be on the ball and of course scored our only goal of the game with a wonderful finish! Huge congratulations Evie, keep up the good work!

Last Saturday we entertained Spilsby Town U8s in our latest friendly match.
Led this week by Elsie the girls really worked hard closing the Spilsby attackers down and not giving them space to play.
Spilsby were strong throughout and we didn’t get many chances on goal but we battled hard with Elsie and Rose forcing saves from the keeper. We did eventually find the target with a mix up in the visitors defence the ball fell to Evie who quickly struck the ball at goal to see it nestle in the back of the net, a brilliant finish!
The girls continued to battle to the end and never gave up and came off the pitch at the end with big smiles on their faces as always! Well done girls!

Last Wednesday we had a fantastic session at The Cage at Wolds Yard! The girls all worked so hard and put maximum effort in. We worked on passing and first touch, chasing the ball down and tackling to win it back. All the girls had a great session but Rose was definitely the stand out player of the session! She tackled hard, passed accurately and really led by example which was great to see! Well done Rose! ⚽️⭐️

Last week we held our usual Wednesday night training session and the girls worked their socks off! There were some red faces by the end of the session as the girls ran ran and ran!
Our super keeper Lacey was star trainer on the night. Despite doing a lot of outfield work throughout the session Lacey worked so hard and chased the ball down well and tried so hard to keep possession well in the passing game. Then when we played our match at the end she returned to her familiar position and made some brilliant saves! Well done Lacey! ⚽️⭐️

The girls ran ran and ran some more at training last Wednesday! They worked really hard and were shattered by the end of the session. We worked on 1 v 1 battles, getting to the ball quickly and not stopping and passing through the lines in a game situation. Ria really stood out during the session working really hard, never stopping when going for the ball and playing well in the game. Well done Ria! ⚽️⭐️

PLAYER OF THE MATCH 🏆

Millie battled so hard on Sunday against Ruskington earning her the player of the match award!
Throughout the match Millie listened really well to advice from Rob & Natalie, worked hard to win the ball back and tried to make the right pass moving forwards! Congratulations Millie!

We travelled to Ruskington yesterday to take on The Lionesses in our latest friendly match. It proved to be a tough game for the girls and one that gave us many lessons to be learnt moving forwards.
Captained by Casey, unfortunately the girls just never really got going both in attack and defence which allowed Ruskington control of the ball and plenty of shots on Lacey’s goal. We will put this one down to just one of those days and move forward as a team. The girls have come so far since we started out in the Summer and they are thoroughly enjoying their football, we’re so proud of them all for it!

A huge thank you to our parents who clubbed together to buy the girls a substitute’s bench! It was put to great use last week for the first time at a very muddy Spilsby!

Matches coming thick and fast for the girls so another important training session was had last night. We focussed on accurate passing and movement off the ball, both of which needed working on after last Saturday’s match. The girls worked really hard and made great strides in both areas and this showed in the end of session game.
Huge congratulations to Evie who was last nights Star Trainer! Evie really got stuck into the session, wanting the ball at every opportunity and even sneaking up on Coach Rob and nicking the ball off him without him knowing! Well done Evie! ⚽️⭐️❤️

Kacey was a defensive wall on Saturday against Spilsby earning her the player of the match award!
Kacey worked so hard all game putting in tackles, making blocks and trying to pass the ball out of defence to move us up the pitch. Huge congratulations Kacey!
