We are incredibly proud to announce that Holyhead Hotspur Women striker Ellie Murphy has been selected for the Ynys Môn Football squad for this summer's tournament in the Isle of Man.

This recognition is thoroughly deserved. Ellie is a natural goalscorer with an outstanding eye for goal, and we have no doubt she'll continue to make her mark both for Ynys Môn and throughout the women's league this season for Holyhead Hotspur Women alongside her teammates.

Her work rate, commitment, and determination on the pitch are second to none, and we're sure Dan and the rest of the Ynys Môn squad will be delighted to have her on board.

Congratulations, Ellie — everyone at Holyhead Hotspur is behind you and wishing you the very best for the tournament!

A quick message of welcome.

As we begin this journey, tomorrow marks our first-ever session as a women's football team. For four years we have progressed, and now the time has come to test our abilities, adapt to the women's game, come together as one, and kick ass!

Matt, Tom, Aled and Danny have complete belief in what we've taught you. Now go out there and show the world what you're capable of.

Yes, I've advertised and had interest from other players wanting to come in, which will strengthen our squad and bring experience. Though genuinely, I believe in you. I believe your place in this squad is not yours to earn — it's yours to lose.

We have a very young team. A team that, at times next season, will be pushed to its limits and beyond.

We're not worried. We're excited. Excited to see what level we're at as a combined team with selected players from the u17s. Excited to see what level we can reach against Tier 3 opposition. Excited to discover just how good we can be.

This won't always be easy. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments that test us. But we'll face them together, as one team.

Tomorrow is the start of something special.
Let's go out there, work hard, back each other, and smash it, girls!

We’re proud to announce that our brand new Holyhead Hotspur Women’s side now have new tracksuits for all players and coaches ahead of next season.

A huge thank you to Stena Line for their incredible support in backing the girls and sponsoring the tracksuits. Their commitment to supporting local community sport means so much to everyone involved with the club.

This year also marks 20 years with Stena Line for manager Matt, making their support even more special. Seeing employers give back to the community in this way is massive for grassroots football and women’s football alike.
