Hello ALL,

I am afraid all good things finally come to an end. Its been great fun and very rewarding watching you all progress too playing aggressive badminton. But work commitments and failing body parts has ended up without any key holders to open up and manage the Monday sessions. Thanks Jackie and Kev for all your help. AND I look forward to perhaps seeing some of you across a badminton net sometime. JJ

Hello All,

We have an opportunity of starting earlier on Mondays 6:15pm till 8:15pm. I am keen on this earlier time as it would mean I will be able to make most if not all Mondays. The fairest way to decide what time to start is to put it to a vote. I will be down this coming Monday and will ask the question. If you cannot make this coming Monday but would like to vote please let me know your preference.

Another option is for club night to run 6:15pm - 9:15pm (3hrs) and then members can choose what times they would prefer to play.... this is of course dependent on covering the court hire.

Sadly my shoulder and knee are not getting any better. So I need to give badminton a rest for the month of November with the hope that a rest will have me bouncing back!

So reaching out to you all in the hope that 1 of you or a collective is/are willing to open up, pick up said funds and close everything back up. Not much to do really. I will be down this coming Monday and we will take it from there if no "volunteer" is found then sadly I will have to close down our Monday sessions. JJ😞🏸

I am afraid there will be no Badminton this coming Monday. I have knackered up my knee and shoulder last week playing badminton. So need to rest them up and I cannot get anyone to open up etc... But everything should be back to normal the following monday....... Fingers crossed. JJ
