You knew. You just wanted somebody else to say it first.
Your intuition tends to arrive when you're busy with something else. Loading the car, halfway through the ironing, standing in the shower. It comes through in a handful of words, calm and sometimes simple, and then it goes, and you carry on with your day as though nothing happened.
What stays is the other voice. The one that lists everything that could go wrong, gets louder around 2am, and quietens down by mid-morning. It sounds sensible because it comes with reasons attached, and it almost always recommends that you leave things as they are for a bit longer. You may notice that the more people you ask, the further away from your own answer you get.
The slides walk through the difference, and what to do the next time a knowing turns up and you're tempted to go looking for a second opinion.
Swipe through when you have a quiet minute. If you're in the middle of a decision you keep taking to other people, save this one - you'll want it the next time it comes through and you're deciding whether to trust it.
