Sydney Gregson imparts her rugby wisdom to our U12 girls

Our burgeoning U12 girls squad were treated to a training session with England and Saracens star centre Sydney Gregson this Sunday.

Based around the session theme of "working together as a team", Sydney led the girls through several fun games that helped them practice positioning in attack and defense, finding space in attack, closing down space when in defense and effective communication. We also worked on some handling skills (can never have enough!) before finishing the session with a fun game of rugby rounders.

After lots of photos with Sydney, the girls retired to the clubhouse for some well-earned food and chat. Our thanks to Sydney for giving us her time in what must be a busy schedule as a professional rugby player; all the girls were really excited to meet you and thoroughly enjoyed their time with you.

Our U12 girls squad continues to grow and are doors are open to any keen year 6 or year 7 girls looking to take up the sport. Contact [email protected] for more info.
