Cardio will ruin my progress with weights ❌
Cardio can only be done in the gym ❌
You have to be fit to do cardio ❌
Cardio helps to improve overall recovery, increases energy levels and improves overall lung and heart function ✅
Cardio can be as simple as going for a long distance walk, run, cycle, etc you don’t need a gym ✅
You get fitter by doing cardio ✅
As all things health and fitness (and in life) everything has its place (context!! 🧠)
The picture purely represents one of my daily habits (slightly endorsed through various posts by and his brutal, but truthful outtake on this subject) which is to ensure I complete at least 30 minutes of steady state cardio to aid my recovery, keep me energised and also ensure I move, as there are days where I spend long periods at my desk.
Movement is medicine and to gain energy, you have to create it, it won’t just come out of thin air!
