The moment has arrived - bookings for the Sunday Beginner Taster Sessions are OPEN!

This is for non-members only.

This will continue as a regular Sunday evening class.

Sunday 1st November

Session 1: 6 - 7pm
Session 2: 7.30 - 8.30pm

The sessions will be idenitcal, please don't book both!

I headed to class last night with a horrible headache and a really yucky feeling.

But headed home still with a horrible headache, but feeling so much happier for having been there.

Even the sarcastic clapping puts a smile on my face 😬

Brand New Beginner Classes

Sunday 1st November

Sturton by Stow Village Hall (permanent venue)

Session 1: 6-7pm
Session 2: 7.30-8.30pm

Please read carefully ⬇️

🤠 the 1st week will be divided into 2 sessions. There is a lot of interest and so I want to keep class sizes manageable, and there is limited parking available

🤠 this is simply to allow me to assess numbers. Class will continue each Sunday thereafter regardless, continuing as 2 sessions or merging as 1, depending upon numbers

🤠 please don't book places at the moment, as there'll be a limited number at each session. There will be a booking system via my new website, launching soon and I'll share details on here. For now, reserve the date in your diary and consider which time suits you

🤠 I will ensure everyone has a space, so don't panic. Even if we have to run until midnight 🤣

Finally, thank you so much for your patience and enthusiasm. I know it's been a long time coming and I truly am overwhelmed by the support for my classes.

I guarantee you'll love it. So you may aswell fill your Temu baskets with sparkly line dance accessories now!

I’ve seen a few of these type of posts, so I’ve created one for us! 😂

THE 6 STAGES OF BECOMING A LINE DANCER 🤠💃

1️⃣ Message the teacher to establish exactly HOW easy she means when she says “easy”. 👀

2️⃣ Nervously arrive at your first class, wondering why everyone else looks like they know what they’re doing.

3️⃣ Go home after ONE class and immediately buy every line-dance-related accessory Temu has ever stocked. 🤠✨ Boots? Yes. Hat? Obviously. Sparkly things you absolutely don’t need? Add to basket.

4️⃣ Arrive at Week 2 and walk confidently across the hall to “your spot.” You’ve stood there once. It belongs to you now.

5️⃣ Accept the inevitable: you’re addicted to line dancing. Your vocabulary now includes walls, tags, restarts, grapevines and the immortal question… “How does it start?” 😂

6️⃣ Tell absolutely everyone:
“I just wish I’d started years ago!” ❤️
And just like that… a line dancer is born. 🤠💃✨

Line dancing is good for the soul. 🩷💙

Line dancing is never far from my thoughts and there are several exciting plans in motion, including a big one off event PLUS a new Friday evening beginner class 🙌🏻

I need your help though!

I’m looking for a class venue for Friday evenings (not Sturton, Welton or Nettleham village halls as they’re already booked)

Tick list is:

✅ Off road parking
✅ Stage area
✅ Good size dance floor
✅ 20 minute drive radius of Caenby Corner
🔊 Sound system is a bonus but not essential
