🏉 Sunday’s Match Awards 🏉

A huge well done to everyone involved on Sunday. The whole team put in a fantastic effort and should be proud of their performance! 👏🔴🔵

⭐ Player of the Match – J. Pinchbeck
A brilliant all-round performance. At times he found himself on his own, but his work rate never dropped. Outstanding tackling, great involvement throughout, and he gave everything for the team.

⭐ Opposition Player of the Match – J. Ellerington
Another standout performance. A real tackling machine who never stopped working and made a huge impact throughout the game.

⭐ Parents' Player of the Match – F. Mower What a performance! Hit those tackles hard and showed incredible determination to power over the try line despite having five players trying to bring him down. His best performance so far!

Another game under our belt! 💪🔴🔵

We knew Hull Wyke Rugby League were going to be tough opposition, and they certainly tested us. We had a slow start, but the boys showed great character and kept working hard. In the second half, we applied much more pressure, took our chances, and were rewarded with a well-deserved try. 🏉

It's great to see how much we're improving week by week, with everyone continuing to learn and develop together.

A big thank you to Wyke for their warm welcome and hospitality. Their traditional boat race at the end of the day was a fantastic way to finish, and it was brilliant to see all the boys having fun and enjoying themselves.

A special mention to the Wyke coach, who offered his advice. He told them that for a brand-new team in their first season, they are showing great potential and should be proud of how well they performed. Hearing those words from an opposition coach meant a lot and is a testament to the hard work and commitment the boys have shown all season.

We know we're building something special, and next season we'll be ready to prove just how far we've come.

We travel to Wyke this morning for the game.

The boys keep getting better every week, working hard in training and showing great progress every time they step onto the field. We're proud of the effort, attitude and teamwork they're showing.

We are still so pleased with the whole team's performance from Sunday's game. The effort, teamwork, and determination shown by every player were fantastic to see. 👏🏉

A few special shout-outs this week:

⭐ Coaches' Players of the Match The coaches couldn't decide on just one player this week!

I. Brownlie – Tried a different position this week and proved he can do it. He didn't miss a tackle all game and got stuck into everything that came his way.

T. Walker – We've been encouraging him to get more involved and be more vocal on the pitch, and he certainly delivered. Quick to the ball and helping to control the game throughout.

⭐ Opposition Player of the Match A. Whitehead – Received high praise from the opposition coaches after an incredible solo effort, running over half the length of the pitch to score a brilliant try.

⭐ Parents' Player of the Match J. Ellerington – Moved into a different position this week and was outstanding. A tackling machine who used his skills brilliantly and showed exactly why he's such a valuable asset to the team.

Well done to all the players for another fantastic team performance. Keep up the hard work! 💪🏉

🔴🔵 🏉 What a game! 🏉 🔴🔵

We may be out of the Challenge Cup, but every single one of us can be proud of that performance today.

Looking back to the last time we faced Beverley Braves ARLFC U12s and comparing it to today, the improvement in this team has been incredible 👍 From the very first second, we were competitive, determined, and ready to take the game to them. We even scored the first try of the match!

The boys showed fantastic teamwork, great skill, and kept the pressure on throughout. There’s still plenty for us to learn and work on, but the progress we’ve made is there for everyone to see.

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, supporters, and families who continue to back us every step of the way.

Congratulations to Beverley Braves 👍 on the win today. A quality team and tough opponents as always. We wish you the very best of luck for the rest of the Challenge Cup 🏆 and the league season.

Tomorrow we take on Beverley Braves in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final! 💪

If you’ve been wondering where we’ve been… don’t worry, we’re back next weekend! 💪🏉

We’re up against a tough Beverley Braves side in the Quarter Final of the Hull Cup 🏆

Even though we’ve been quiet, the hard work hasn’t stopped. We’ve still been training, learning from previous games, working hard, and most importantly — having fun together as a team.

This is our first season in the league, and for us it’s all about learning, improving, building the team, and enjoying every moment along the way 🔵🔴
