One of the themes of this year’s Henley Women’s Regatta is celebrating 50 years of women’s Olympic rowing 🚣‍♀️

Fifty years ago, women took to the Olympic rowing start line for the very first time at the Montréal 1976 Games, a landmark moment that helped transform opportunities for generations of female athletes 🙌

Throughout the weekend, we’re reflecting on the pioneers whose determination and resilience helped shape the sport we know today.

T-3 days until Henley Women’s Regatta and just 2 days to go until our International Crew Reception 🌍🚣‍♀️

One of the highlights of race week, the reception brings together crews from across the globe to celebrate the international spirit of HWR and kick off an unforgettable weekend of racing

Join us on Thursday 18 June from 5:30pm at the iconic Leander Club 🦛💜

Open to athletes, coaches, family and friends, the evening will include a welcome from HWR Chairman Naomi Ashcroft, guest speakers, and the opportunity to meet fellow competitors before racing gets underway.

Athletes and coaches competing at HWR can register for a complimentary ticket, with additional tickets available for family and friends at £20 each.
