What a great day yesterday as the Team Green crew circumnavigated 31 miles around Horsham. No frills, no route signs, no marshals, no timing, no real deadlines other than the goal of a burger and a beer at the finish, just lots of good old Type 1 running fun, as it should be. Huge thanks to Horsham Joggers for the invite, we hope you invite us back next year!

An absolutely fabulous turnout for the Henfield Half Marathon today with a few stars turning out AND a new (awaiting verification from Guinness World Records) WORLD RECORD TRAIL HALF MARATHON TIME FOR CARRYING A 40LB PACK!

Online entries are now closed but there will be On The Day entries available tomorrow from Henfield Leisure Centre . Remember it’s a 9:30 start. Our course recce this afternoon is unsurprising “Nothing of consequence to report! The northern riverbank is like broken concrete, none of the nettles or long grass has grown back”

We will have multiple water stations around the course but remember to hydrate!

We’re delighted that Team Dude Assisted Running are returning for a third year to tackle the Henfield Half Marathon on 16th August which we help the organisers Henfield Leisure Centre with each year! So inspiring and such positive energy!

We’re also delighted that Tom Fuller, who set a Guinness World Record for the fastest 10k carrying a 20lb pack at Worthing last year, has chosen the Henfield Half Marathon to attempt another World Record for the fastest trail Half Marathon with a 40lb pack!

We’re delighted that event is also part of the Sussex Grand Prix again this year!
