Rhu 7-5 Linwood Rangers

The boys finished the league campaign by putting 7 past the league leaders Linwood Rangers at Ardenconell .

Rhu were off the mark early and found themselves 2 up within 15 mins with a quick goal from G Stewart then T MacDonald but a stubborn Linwood side pulled 2 back before the break . Linwood then went down to 10 men just before the start of the second half . Despite this Linwood got a third against the run of play . G Stewart grabbed his second and third to restore the lead . A long free kick from A Dougan inside his own half seemed to catch out the Linwood keeper for the 5th . Rhu then picked off the 10 men of Linwood with free flowing football which allowed G Stewart to grab another 2 goals and ensure the points were secured .
