Hedge End Swimming Club We are a swimming club for adults / masters in Hedge End, Southampton, based at Wildern Leisure Centre.

We swim on a Monday morning, 5:30-6:30am, and if you would like to come along for a free trial, we would love to see you. Hedge End Swimming Club, based at Wildern Leisure Centre in Hedge End, are an adult / masters Swim England affiliated swimming club catering for a broad range of individuals who share a passion for swimming. Ahead of our first session back at Wildern Leisure Centre following recent pool refurbishments, Hedge End Swimming Club was represented at the Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire Masters Championships today, securing 3 medals! 🥇🥇🥉

We are also looking forward to being back in the pool tomorrow morning and if you would like to join us, do get in touch! 😀🏊‍♂️🏊🏊‍♀️

Good progress is being made with the swimming pool refurbishments at Wildern Leisure Centre. It should only be two weeks more to wait until Hedge End Swimming Club are able to get back in the pool 🏊‍♀️🏊🏊‍♂️

Hedge End Swimming Club member Phil has been keeping up the swimming while away for a holiday and for work.

While our home pool is closed for a few weeks due to maintenance, Hedge End Swimming Club are having to use other locations to go for swim.

Today involved a dip in the 67m long Hilsea Lido as the sun was coming up. It was a beautiful start to the day and 6 length repeats made 402m - which is close enough to a familiar pool distance! 😀🏊‍♂️🏊🏊‍♀️☀️

Well done to Hedge End Swimming Club member Don who took part in the Challenging Events Holly Hill Triathlon earlier today. 🏊‍♂️🚴🏃‍♂️

Don completed the Sprint distance of 400m pool swim, 28km bike and 6km run, and finished in first place in his age category (70-74 years)! Well done Don! 😀💪

Just remember to bring a brightly colored swim cap, tow float, and a pealess whistle. Plan your route, the currents, and entry points beforehand, and always tell someone ashore exactly where you are swimming 🏊‍♀️🏊🏊‍♂️
