Phoenix Brass - The Unique Sound of Brass – With a Touch of Class at Wadsworth Community Centre on Friday 7th November – Doors 6:45. - Concert 7:30
For well over a quarter of a century, Phoenix Brass has been entertaining audiences throughout the north of England, further afield and overseas with its special brand of brass music. Its members have played with some of the finest brass bands in Lancashire and Yorkshire, so their standards of musicianship are of the highest calibre.
The ten-piece group was formed in 1980 by like-minded brass players who wanted to explore a wider range of music than was available to traditional brass bands. The group’s style has moved with the times, its repertoire expanding to cater for changing tastes. So, we’re in for a scintillating evening of Brass – with a touch of Class!
In true Wadsworth style this would not be complete without cask ale, a Pie and pea supper and this time a curry! All at a modest price and served at the interval.
Old Town Bowling Club has invited Phoenix Brass to perform to raise funds for a much-needed storage unit to replace their dilapidated shed

The bar will be open and cask ales, pie and peas and curries will be available to purchase.
All proceeds go towards the Old Town Bowling Club fund to purchase a new storage shed for bowling and greenkeeping equipment.
