⚽ CHARITY MATCH – 6TH SEPTEMBER ⚽

Heanor Ladies FC are hosting a charity match at Heanor Welfare, and we’d love to see plenty of people there supporting us.

📍 Heanor Welfare

There’ll be a BBQ, cake sale and raffle, with some great prizes including a hotel stay, tattoo session and more.

🎟️ Raffle tickets are available now, so if you want to be in with a chance of winning, get your tickets from us.

Most importantly, all proceeds from the day will be going to a local family in need.

Bring the kids, bring your mates, grab some food and come and watch the ladies play. It should be a great afternoon, and your support will make a real difference.

Another day and another tournament run out for our Comets this time in our Heanor Juniors FC mixed tournament.

This week, runners up in a tight final against our Heanor Juniors friends, the Tigers.

This past 2 weeks we have really pushed these amazing little humans out of their comfort zone and they continue to rise to every challenge we throw their way. Working hard for each other, playing some lovely football, continuing their development and most of all having loads of fun, playing the game they love with friends.

A shout out to all, the coaches, friends, family and pets who have given up their own free time over the last few weekends to put on the tournaments, so much time and effort goes into these weekends and without our volunteers, they simply could not happen.
To see and hear all the positive feedback has been wonderful and so well deserved.

Good luck to the teams enjoying the final day of our 2026 tournaments tomorrow!

💙 1,090 players. 94 teams. One incredible weekend. 💙
A huge thank you to every volunteer, coach, referee, parent, sponsor and player who made the Heanor Juniors Girls Tournament such a success.
Grassroots football doesn't happen without people giving up their time, and this weekend was a perfect example of what can be achieved when a community comes together.
Now... time to catch our breath before doing it all again next weekend! 💪⚽🖤💙

Tournament season is here 🎉🏆

Our U8’s Comets entered our Heanor Juniors FC girls tournament today having to play up a year in the U9’s category.
The pitch looked massive, some of the opposition looked massive and it was the first time playing 7 a side but our Comets dug in as a team and never looked out of place.

After a long morning, the girls looked dead on their feet going into the semi finals of the plate but again working so so hard for each other, running their little legs into the ground and ending the day with a local Heanor Juniors derby in a tight encounter with our U9 Eclipse, with our Comets edging the final 1-0!
We are so so proud of all of the girls today, stepping up in a challenging environment and coming out with silverware but most of all, showing their bond, team spirit and having a loads and loads of fun!

Another fantastic advertisement seeing the massive amount of girls teams at the tournament today, incredible stuff! Well done everyone!

This Saturday at Heanor Welfare, we’re celebrating another fantastic year of Football For Fun after welcoming 112 kids to the last session alone.

A massive congratulations to our Ladies team on a brillant successful debut season and gaining automatic promotion to division 2 of the derby girls ladies league

This team represents what teamwork and unity is all about they work so hard for each other and have an unbreakable bond throughout the squad and they are a joy to watch and more importantly massive role models for our younger girls teams we couldn't be any more prouder of them

Heanor Ladies where football is more than just a Game ⚽️

What a day for Heanor Ladies. ⚽️
Today we travelled away to Etwall to play Doveridge and came away with a huge 6-0 win… which means we’ve officially secured promotion in our very first season together! 🏆
Not bad for a “geriatric” squad with a 31-year age gap running through the team. 😂 From the youngest to the oldest, every single player has played their part in an unbelievable season.
Today also marked our presentation; a chance to celebrate everything this team has achieved on and off the pitch. The commitment, laughs, injuries, chaos (Rich! 🤣) and memories have made this first season one to remember.
A massive thank you to our coach Rich. No family connection to the team, yet he’s shown up week in, week out and committed everything to helping us succeed. We honestly couldn’t have done it without you 👏
And another huge thank you to Heanor Juniors for the support throughout the season. Without the club, this team simply wouldn’t exist. Your backing has made all of this possible.
