You don’t need to put your life on hold to get fit, or to do anything for that matter.

You need a plan that fits around the life you’ve actually got. Kids. Business. Housework. Chaos. The lot.

If you’re like me, the chaos isn’t going anywhere - so we prioritise our own goals around it.

You can put the work in without burning yourself to the ground and getting stronger and more confident is always worth it 🫶🏼

Certainly not cut out to be an influencer, but will keep influencing women to get into the gym so they realise they ARE capable and they CAN love their bodies 💘

Yes I’m talking to you because you’re still not prioritising protein even though you need to.

Feeling fatigued and lacking motivation whilst heading to the snack cupboard at 8pm?

You’re not going to break that cycle until you increase your protein intake per meal. And no, your collagen supplement isn’t going to fix all your problems either.

If you’d like some guidance on how to hit your protein requirements, comment “protein guide” below and as always if you’re ready to start training properly send me a message for my September availability ☺️

Raising wild kids alongside work, looking after a home and working towards your own goals is not for the faint hearted.

But if you wait for life to calm down before pursuing those goals, you’ll continue to never start.

You’re allowed to look after yourself too and small steps still count 🩷

Imagine walking into any gym, picking up a set of dumbbells and actually knowing what you’re doing.

No wandering around wondering which machine to use and just jumping on the treadmill and being bored for the next 30 mins.

Claire sent me this message after a friend she hadn’t seen in a while told her she looked “toned and lean” and asked if she’d been doing PT sessions.

She was also away on holiday and told me she felt completely confident walking into the hotel gym and training by herself using the workouts on the app as they show her exactly what to do in the gym.

The biggest change is Claire’s confidence and strength. That’s what happens when you stop guessing your way around the gym and start following a plan that actually teaches you how to train.

Your body changes as a byproduct of getting stronger, more capable and confident in your own ability.

If you’re a woman who wants to get stronger, feel confident using weights and actually know what you’re doing in the gym, my small group coaching may be the answer.

Message me “STRONG” and I’ll send you more info.

The goal is to get the most out of life, what are you training for? 🩷

20/08/2026

Why does training more consistently make you feel stronger, fitter & more capable?

Because your body adapts to the demands you repeatedly put on it. And you need to make those demands count.

Every strength session gives your muscles, nervous system and cardiovascular system a stimulus to adapt to. With consistent training, you repeatedly expose your body to that stimulus — and over time, those adaptations build.

You also get more opportunities to practise the movements, which matters because getting stronger isn’t just about building muscle. Your nervous system becomes better at coordinating and recruiting your muscles efficiently, which helps you perform movements with more confidence, control and strength.

Training consistently also allows you to progressively increase your training over time — whether that’s lifting more weight, doing more reps or improving your technique.

One hard session can make you feel like you’ve worked but without consistent training your body can’t build on that work.

And you’ll go back to feeling knackered again the following week. You wouldn’t expect to work one day a week and earn a full time wage, so don’t expect the progress you want from the gym with one good session a week.

Train hard. Train consistently. Give your body something to build on 💪🏼

What if weight loss was the result, not the goal?”

Lucy came to me for something completely different. Our priority was rebuilding strength, increasing her confidence in the gym and getting her into the best possible position for an upcoming operation.

And over the last 3 months, she’s lost almost a stone. Not because we put her on a miserable diet or because she was doing endless cardio. And certainly not because she had to have perfect weeks.

She got stronger, started moving more and made some simple, sustainable changes to her nutrition.

And her body responded in the way it does for all of us when we’re consistent.

Sometimes, when you focus on becoming stronger, healthier and more capable, the physical changes follow as a result.

If you’re ready to get stronger, feel better and make progress without your entire life revolving around the scales, DM me “STRONG” 💪🏼

POV: you stopped trying to hide your body and started building one you feel bloody good in.

Strength training isn’t just about muscle.

It’s about throwing on the dress.
Feeling strong.
Feeling confident.
And not giving your outfit a second thought.

That’s the kind of “getting in shape” I’m interested in 🩷
