Away in a local derby for the second league fixture, lads travelled to Owston Ferry. Who turned up with plenty of numbers and supports to back them, we knew theyโ€™d be up for it. We took abit to get into the game, but once we tried to control the play we slowly created more chances, the match saw two penalties one a piece, but it was the Kings who showed some quality with the ball for the second, too secure the win. Happy to take another 3 points away from home, the lads are away next week to Blue Bell Rangers all support is appreciated!

First Game of the Season weโ€™re back with a bang!

Lads traveled away to face The Venue, we knew we had to start the season off with strong performance everyone put a shift in to put five goals past the home team and also keeping a clean sheet ๐Ÿ‘

Plenty of positives to take from today! First league game for new management & we look to only improve!

Boys are back in action next Sunday away to Owston Ferry Sports Club, get down if you can!

This weekend football is back as Kings Arms FC travel to take on Owston Ferry Sports Club in the Isle Cup.

After last season as manager and many more as a player, Kings Arms FC manager/player Brad Smithson has decided to step down as club manager. We'd like to thank Brad for many years of hard work and commitment and everything heโ€™s done for the lads this past year and previously. Kept the group together and thatโ€™s down to him! He will still be around the team and stay apart of the club, playing when he can!
The heart Brad has for the club is the reason we are the longest standing team in the isle and we continue to succeed, he is truly a Kings lad.

Moving forward, assistant SS19 will take over to run the club from one Smithson to another.

For the 26/27 season the management team will be as follows:

Manager: Sam Smithson
Assistant: Daniel Taylor
Club Captain: Michael Broom
Vice Captains: Ben Carson & Ross Bingham

Once again, Thank you Brad from everyone involved with The Kings! Make sure youโ€™re there for the good times we'll do what we must & carry this on the way you would ๐Ÿ’™

Friday evening the Kings Arms in Haxey hosted our presentation night, where we saw the deserving players collect their awards for season 25/26.
