We were delighted to welcome 1st Johnston Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to our station yesterday evening, with HM Coastguard - Broad Haven joining us as well. A fun and informative evening to educate the group on the role of both services and hopefully inspire a few to volunteer in the future!

Well done to Gethin Love, who recently attended the Crew Emergency Procedures (CEP) course at the RNLI training college in Poole. The course covers a wide range of emergency scenarios and completing it means crew members are signed off to go afloat on exercises and services for five years. Great job, Geth!

🚨SHOUT 📟 Crew were paged at 15:46 yesterday to assist Dyfed-Powys Police, HM Coastguard - Broad Haven and HM Coastguard Dale in a shoreline search for a missing person (MISPER) around Broad Haven beach. This initial search didn’t produce any results so the boat returned to station, before being tasked a second time at 20:01 to assist RNLI St Davids Lifeboat and Helo R924 from Newquay on a wider search further out to sea. After an update from the Police, the search operation was then moved inland and we were able to return to station again to be made ready for service. A great team effort all round.

🚨📟 SHOUT! Crew were paged at 12.49 today to reports of surfers in difficulty in Newgale. We had a quick response from everyone that was available and were preparing to launch when we received an update that the surfers had been safely helped back to shore by other people nearby, so we were stood down and the boat was made ready for next service.
