The story of Adonius 🐎

In the spring of 2025 we bought a Soldier's Call yearling at Goffs UK for £32,000. We named him Adonius.

Fast forward to 2026 and the story has gone further than we ever dared imagine.

Three runs. Three wins.

✅ 1st — EBF Restricted Maiden, Musselburgh, April 2026
✅ 1st — EBF Novice Stakes, Musselburgh, April 2026
✅ 1st — Lily Agnes Stakes, Chester, May 2026

After Chester the interest was immediate. American ownership group West Paces Racing — co-owners of Dornoch, winner of the 2024 Belmont Stakes — bought a 50% stake. Joined by Riverdee Stable from Virginia, headed by former champion steeplechase jockey Sean Clancy.

Trained by Rebecca Menzies at Howe Hills in County Durham. Ridden by Kaiya Fraser for every single win.

Next stop — the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on 29th July.

8 days until Adonius runs in the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood 🐎

This week we were down at the famous Malton gallops in North Yorkshire watching him work. A huge thank you to Julie Camacho for having us — Adonius worked upsides one of her horses and more than held his own.

Our trainer Rebecca Menzies gives her verdict in the video. When Rebecca is happy, we're happy.

We're Foal to the Finish — a father and son racehorse syndicate from the North East of England. We started with a simple belief: racehorse ownership shouldn't just be for the wealthy.
