Following on from the message that we sent on Tuesday the 8th March 2022 regarding the passing of Br. Azhan Ajmeer of Harrow, who passed away on 07/03/22 in the United Kingdom.

He was the beloved son of late Al Haj Aboobucker Mohammed Ajmeer and Hajiani Sithy Maleeha Ajmeer, loving husband of Silmiya Azhan (Harrow), beloved father of Aleeza, Aleena & Ayana and brother of Dr.Shahan ( Sri Lanka) and Ziyan (Canada).

Burial of the Janaza will be taking place in'sha'Allah _*tomorrow (FRIDAY 11th March 2022)* at the Harrow Weald Cemetery, Stanmore.*_

The funeral arrangements are as follows:

It is with heavy heart and great sadness that we inform the sudden demise of our beloved friend and club memeber Mr. Azhan Ajmeer, who had passed away last night in the United Kingdom.

He was the beloved son of late Al Haj Aboobucker Mohammed Ajmeer and Hajiani Sithy Maleeha Ajmeer, loving husband of Silmiya Azhan (Harrow), beloved father of Aleeza, Aleena & Ayana and brother of Dr.Shahan ( Sri Lanka) and Ziyan (Canada).

Azhan was such an active memeber of our HSL Sports Club and a League 1 player of the HSL Badminton League 2021/22.

We pray that Allah (SWT) will shower him with mercy and grant him the highest rank in Jannat-Ul-Firdous and give his family the patience in these difficult time.

HSL LEAGUE 2019/20 FINAL DAY EVENT

Unfotunately, last year due to Covid-19 global pandamic and the continuous outbreak & lockdown in the UK, we couldn’t host the HSL LEAGUE 2019/20 FINAL DAY EVENT. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We have managed to secure the booking of Whitefriars Sports Hall this time and we will be hosting the remaining matches and the tournament on Sunday the 3rd October 2021 from 12.30pm.

FOUR TROPHIES FOR HSL TEAMS AT HARROW STROKERS CHARITY BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2021

The HSL Badminton teams managed to win four award trophies during the Harrow Strokers Charity Badminton Tournament 2021 organised by the last weekend. The competition was successfully held at the Lycee International Sports Hall in Wembley with many teams participating from Greater Harrow, Luton, Slough, etc. The following teams from HSL Sports Club managed to won trophies.

1. Open Tournament Gold Runner-Up – Team Mubarak Hussain & Imran Ithkhan
2. Open Tournament Gold 4th Place – Team Irfan Razzak & Sharaf Mohamed
3. Open Tournament Silver Runner-Up – Team Iflan Ithkan & Fairoos Raheem
4. Over 45 Gold Runner-Up – Team Faiz Mohamed & Akram Mohamed

The HSL Badminton Leagues 2019/20 for Juniors & Seniors will be beginning on Sunday the 6th October 2019. There will be 14 Teams in both Leagues 1 & 2 competing for the Senior League titles respectively. Further, we have 10 junior teams (Age 12-17) that will be competing for the Junior League title which we are going to introduce for the first time this year.
