A massive day for Leeds District basketball league day today with the Men's Premier and Division 1 Playoffs Finals at Huddersfield University being the pinnacle of a excellent and exciting weekend of the Leagues Ladies, D4, D3, and D2 Finals on Saturday.

Good luck to the Premier Teams Leeds Demons 1 vs Leeds Lithuanians 1 and in Division 1 final we wish the Yorkshire Wizards vs Jorvik Warriors M1 the very best of luck.

Some epic images from a battle Royal against the Leeds Demons 2 team in our Playoff Quarter Finals 2nd leg, with a 15 point deficit to overcome from the first leg it was going to be a very stern challenge which the boys attacked from the start - it was hard fought competitive basketball that showed what character this team has built since coming together 8 months ago.
We lost by 4 points in the end but what a game!!

Play off Quarter Finals - Royals vs Leeds Demons 2.

Friday 3rd April.

Home game leg 2.

With a 15 pont deficit to claw back tomorrow night's game will be one of our biggest tests to date, but hey!! we are at our best when the challenge is at its worst.

I have a excellent bench and the guys are ready to rumble so let's see what the Quarters bring.

When? End of April and Start of May

Who is this open to? Any male or female in the Harrogate Educational catchment area.

Cost = First 90mins sessions free.

Format = lots of basketball, skills introduction and LOTS of basketball.

D1 Playoffs Quarter Finals Leg 1
Leeds Demons 2 vs Yorkshire Royals
A tough gig indeed, although a loss by 15, which I honestly believe we can turn around at home.
Q1 23-20
Fast, furious and focused is my simple summation of this Q, the boys were on it.
Q2 15-12 Dedicated defence, and the ball just not falling.
Q3 18-21 Despite dodgy calls we managed to inch ahead
Q4 20-8 frustrated with the non calls this ruined the game.
Back to us on the 3rd.

Tough gig this evening, it's Round 1 of the Playoff Quarter Finals and we are away to 3rd placed Leeds Demons 2.

Should be a excellent arm wrestle, wish us luck!!
