Mark Hall School was opened in 1954, as an 11-18 school but following re-organisation in 1984 became one of five 11-16 comprehensive schools which feed into the Harlow Tertiary College. Mark Hall is a ‘Specialist Sports College’ school and is the oldest comprehensive schools in Harlow. It has an excellent reputation among parents, students and the local community. This is partly due to the clear a

nd high standards relating to uniform and discipline and partly to the quality of educational opportunity provided. Within Essex, the school also has a good reputation due to its involvement, over the years, in a number of local and National initiatives.
