Harrow and District Riding club are a friendly riding club for both non-horse owners and horse owners. Based at Littlebourne Equestrian Centre in Harefield, members are able to use school horses to compete at the club's monthly events which include judged dressage and riding tests, handy riders and much more. There is also the opportunity to compete in local inter-club events. Members of all standards (you must be able to canter proficiently) are welcome. HDRC is affiliated to the BHS.

A fantastic musical day yesterday, with 5 of our members taking part in the Dressage to Music event. Well done to Karen and Monty on their first place and to all of our competitors for showcasing some brilliant tests. Our next event will be the pole clinic, so keep an eye out for further information coming soon.

A lovely day for our Prelim Dressage competition on Sunday. Well done to Dianne and Elegante on their first place. Thank you to all of our competitors and members who made it a great day.

A beautiful day for our Novice Riding Test today. Congratulations to Dianne and Elegante for their win in the hireling class and to Rebecca and Murdoch for first place in the liveries. Well done to all our competitors too.

A lovely sunny day yesterday for our members taking part in the Pairs Dressage. Well done to Karen and Noori with their equine partners Elegante and Chloe who took first place. Thank you to judge Lawrence and as always to Littlebourne Equestrian.

Well done to our members who braved a rather soggy Oz today to take part in the Handy Rider event with some fabulous costumes.
Congratulations to our very own scarecrows Rebecca and Murdoch on their first place!

A great start to the 2026 calendar yesterday with the Walk and Trot test. Well done to Rebecca and Murdoch winning in the liveries class and to Dianne and Smuggler for their win in the hirelings class. Thank you to everyone who turned out to watch too.

A fantastic event yesterday with our Dressage to Music event. Competitors created their own tests and rode them to music of their choice. Congratulations to Christa and Jigsaw for their 1st place and to our second place duo Karen and Fem with only half a point separating them!
Well done to everyone who took part and of course to their equine partners for the day.

Eight of our members took part in a pole clinic on Sunday, lead by the fabulous Ciaran at Littlebourne Equestrian. They each completed a series of movements over various sets of poles, followed by feedback and a chance to then improve on where they may have struggled first time. Well done to Fiona M on Chloe for being awarded best improved rider.

Well done to our members who took part in the Novice Riding Test yesterday. The clouds parted making for a lovely sunny day. Congratulations to Noori & Chloe and Chris & Monty on their first places, very well deserved!
