HCC New Home Until January 2022

NEW HOME - From the 6th October until December our temporary home will be the Sports Facilities Tangley Park Road where we have sole use of the 3 courts in the hall

Where - next to the Sainsbury’s in the Avenue, Hampton, TW12 3YH. Close to The White House Community Centre and only eight mins walk/0.4 mile from Hampton Sports Centre.

When - access from 8-10pm on Wednesday for our club nights and Fridays for match nights

HCC MEMBERSHIP

Our winter membership season will start from Oct 6th 2021 to 30th April2022.

HCC Winter Season Membership fee all existing and new members for £140 (due 1st Oct)
Existing members (who paid the full 19/20 subs) will receive a £25 discount from last years covid disruption/cancellation
Payment in 2 installments is permitted
Payment due by 31st October (to reduce admin time for club volunteers - a late fee of £10 will be applied after this time)
Guests can be invited for up to 3 club nights at a fee of £8 per night, after which a discussion on joining will be required. Check with club officials before inviting.

Separate summer fees tbc with effect from 1st May
Match fees £7 per match (home or away) - there are to be no teas due to covid.

Badminton England fees:-
Compete (county) players must pay their own
All other members £16 - this MUST be paid with the first subs in October (unless you pay via another club)

Hampton Academy (HA - previously the Community College) Hanworth Road in Hampton, Middlesex.

HCC Badminton Club plays every Wednesday at Hampton Academy throughout the year from 8pm -10pm. Four courts are available on a sprung wooden floor,

Visitor Fee - £6 per night
Members fee - £120 for the season Sept-Apr = Plus there is a £20 fee to cover the Badminton England registration needed for all members which also includes insurance.
The main fee can be paid in 2 instalments (£60) - with the £20 due at the time of joining (discounted for joiners after June 1 2019)

We have limited vacancies at present due to a full club - evaluations can be made after the first 3 visits. But we are keen to welcome Ladies who play at an intermediate and upwards level

Additional Note:
There is an adjoining gym (extra cost) and showers.
There is free car parking available on site.

2017 New Match season starting at HCC.

Dear All,

I trust you all had an enjoyable break from work, but are missing playing badminton.

The second half of the winter season starts at 8 pm on Wed. 4th January and runs until Wed. 26th April.

4 courts have been booked for every week until the end of March – the longest period we can pre-book. Providing current attendance levels are maintained we would continue to book all 4 courts.

Please pay the full fee for the second half of the season at £60 asap, if not already paid. The club third party insurance via Badminton England only allows three visits as a guest paying weekly. Early payment of fees helps the club’s future planning, including retaining the courts for our usage.

Summer Club begins this week

From May 6th to 26th August – 17 nights!

2 courts have been booked, but we can increase this to 3 or 4 courts if we see numbers rise (paying the full subscription early helps us confirm and book the extra courts (see below).

The AGM will be held for 15 mins. one night in May/June - date to be confirmed

Teams for next season need to be submitted by end of June - so please advise if you want to be in a team, or not.
