Busy weekend for the MU Whites & Reds playing their league games against Strathaven Dynamos, W Academy and On the Ball. Well done to all the boys and coaches ⚽️🔴⚪️

Whites ⚪️ - We started a little sluggish and gave ourselves a bit of work to do early on, but as the game progressed the boys grew into it and started playing some really good football.
The opposition caused us problems with the long ball throughout the game, but the boys kept trying to play the right way, getting the ball down, passing and creating chances. Plenty of effort and determination right to the final whistle, and lots for us to learn from and work on at training.
And happy birthday to Leo ……thanks for the cake for all the boys hope you have a good day. 🎈

Captain was Dan today showing great effort and determination throughout the match. He kept encouraging the team and gave everything right up until the final whistle. 👍🏻

Reds 🔴 - First game against W academy boys had an excellent second half and worked really hard.
Second game the boys tired however they kept going and worked really hard. Couldn’t fault their effort today. 👏🏼

Another Saturday of games in the bag for the Whites and Blacks playing against Motherwell and Inspire. Well done to all the boys and coaches 👏🏼⚽️

Whites ⚪️ - We loads of positives to take from the performance. They played some excellent attacking football, moved the ball really well and created plenty of chances throughout the match. There was some great passing and movement, good teamwork and, everyone kept working hard for each other from start to finish. Lots to build on and another performance the boys can be proud of. 💪

Blacks ⚫️ - The boys dig in and kept going against a really good inspire team. The boys had a really positive spells in the match and worked hard for each other. Well done 👍🏻

Caption today were Jude & Oliver who led by example and kept a great tempo. Well done boys👨‍✈️

Captains today - Gabriel & Mason 👨‍✈️

Whites ⚪️ - A really positive start to the new season for the Whites today, with fantastic work rate and effort from every player for the full game. There was plenty to be happy with, including some great passing, good movement, strong tackling and, most importantly, everyone working hard for each other as a team lots to build on as the season progresses.
G was captain today and led by example, putting in a brilliant shift and setting the standard with his effort and attitude.
Well done, Whites – a great first game back and plenty to look forward to! 👏

Blacks ⚫️ - *Sorry No Photo*

A good start for the Blacks team at 9's this afternoon. A closely fought match, mainly because of some great saves from our Gk.

The togetherness and willing to work for each other on the pitch was nice to see. However also a few things we need to work on and we will chat with the boys regarding this. They should be pleased with there efforts today and there win.
Also I would like to thank everyone for their help today much appreciated. 👏🏼
