Today is show day!!!! 🥳✨👏🏻
Hope you are all well and the children are raring to go! 🥰
At FDA we strive to build enthusiastic, determined, skilled and confident children, teen and adult dancers for the future, it's not just dance and tonight/tomorrow I hope you see their progress! We are so proud of each and everyone of our students, we truly are like a family! 👏
We hope you are also ready to see how much effort your children have put into their performances on the big stage, all alone for the first time, no helpers will be alongside them on the stage (but we will be in the wings if they need a helping hand) so please remember the wellbeing and mental health of the children is far more important than any mistakes they may make, if any. We praise their effort no matter what and for our youngest dancers they need the encouragement to smile where it's needed, stretch and try their best, a massive cheer at the end of their dances ofcourse will give them the boost they may need! Being on a stage alone with darkness on the audience and lights on you can be daunting, even as an adult! But not to worry, we have excellent supportive staff backstage to support where needed and had practice to perform in these conditions now, this is why the rehearsals are necessary.
We would like to thank you all so much for buying tickets and showing your dedication and support towards your children and the dance school, as you're aware we are only a small dance school now so every bit of support is vital to us. So a huge thank you for your ticket sales and support, if you would like anymore tickets they will be sold on the doors! ❤️
Reminder: All children need to arrive at 3:55 today with make up done, their drinks and snacks (no nuts please) and all their outstanding costumes, ie; leggings, shorts, shoes, shirts etc.
Hairstyles, if unsure, message us. It's either half up, half down or two french plaits for the Saturday morning group, the children should know.
The show starts at 7 tonight so please arrive 15 minutes prior to finding your seats. No photography/recording will be allowed due to safeguarding.
We will however try to get snapshots where possible.
Tomorrow all students need to arrive for 1pm as the show starts at 2pm. Ticket holders to arrive 15 mins before the show is due to start.
