As Colin and Ann return home after a weekend of tough competition at Weston-super-Mare. All at ELPC would like to congratulate both our club members and All the Scotland team, who return home the well deserved Victorious champions in their respective league. I think Scotland had secured the title with 1 round left to play. An outstanding achievement by our 16 players. Well done to The Scottish Petanque Association for giving these players the opportunity.

Two of our club members Ann Rowan and Colin Rowan will be heading down to Weston-super-Mare as part of a 16 strong Scotland squad playing at the inter regional- petanque England competition. The teams are made up of 4 x 4 players. We All wish Ann, Colin and all the Scotland squad. All the very best. Play your "A" game, stay focused, relaxed and enjoy

A wee photo of some of the club members, taken last night(Wednesday) photo was taken by Club member Colin Homes. 20 members turned out, when the weather was unpredictable to play petanque!!!
In the photo there are members who played in the Region 4 summer league. As the results have now been published , it appears that East Lothian Petanque Club are the 2026 champions. I would like to thank all our members who played their part, huge thanks to all the participating clubs and to the organisers for making this league work. Its great watching players in our region develop.
We still have one game to play at Inverleith on the 19th September. On the following day, 20th September, there is also a fundraiser at Inverleith, get a team in a support our ladies representing Scotland in September.

A great turnout from ELPC at Inverleith Petanque Club Open Triples. Fourteen members competed on Sunday with some difficult opposition. Matthew Dickie managed yet another podium 3rd place finish with his team mates Emma and Pascal.
A big shout out and well done to Colin Homes for his 2nd competition and a welcome back to Amy after her maternity leave!
