🏆 PLAYERS OF THE MATCH 🏆

A brilliant team performance today, but three girls stood out and deserved special recognition. 🔴⚪️

⚽ Mabel L
An impressive performance from Mabel, capped off with a fantastic hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️
She worked hard linking the play throughout and earned her goals by reading the game brilliantly and gambling in the box.

👏 Elsie H
For the second consecutive week, Elsie takes home Player of the Match! 👏
She worked tirelessly down the right wing and was brilliant both physically and technically today.
She was incredibly unlucky not to get on the scoresheet herself, hitting the woodwork twice and forcing the Trimdon goalkeeper into some excellent saves.

💪 Evie H
Evie played in midfield for the first half before moving into defence for the second, showing the versatility and reliability she brings to the team.
Miss Reliable once again gave 100% from start to finish and produced another really solid performance.

Three very deserved awards after another excellent team performance. 🔴⚪️

TJFA U14 Girls Division 1
Trimdon United 0-7 Guisborough Town

The Priorygirls make it two from two! 🔴⚪️

The Priorygirls made their first away trip of the season to face a hard-working and physical Trimdon United side, and came away with an excellent 7–0 victory.

The girls got off to the perfect start, with Mabel L opening the scoring inside the first minute. Mabel quickly added two more to complete a fantastic first-half hat-trick. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Connie R then added her second goal in as many games, finding the back of the net directly from a corner to give the girls a strong lead at the break. ⚽️

The scoreline could have been even more convincing, with the girls creating chance after chance, but full credit to the Trimdon goalkeeper, who produced some fantastic saves to keep her side in the game.

The second half saw the girls continue with real purpose and intent, looking to advance the ball quickly, play on the front foot and create further opportunities.

Josie W added a fifth and her 3rd of the season from another corner ⚽️ before Alice C-H made it six late in the game. ⚽️

The scoring was then topped off by Meadow T, whose long-range effort deceived the Trimdon goalkeeper and found the back of the net. ⚽️

A fantastic performance from the girls against a hard-working and physical Trimdon United team.

The Priorygirls played some great football from start to finish and, despite the seven goals, were probably unlucky not to score even more.

Huge shoutout to Trimdon United girls for putting on a performance that made us work for our goals.

Two games. Two wins. Two fantastic performances.

The Priorygirls have been handed their second round tie in the North Riding County FA U14 Junior Girls Cup.

An away tie at T.I.B.S Girls awaits the girls.

A great cup challenge ahead for the girls as we look to advance in the competition after first round disappointment last season.

🏆 PLAYERS OF THE MATCH

This was an incredibly difficult one to choose today, because every single girl was fantastic from back to front. The quality, character and determination throughout the team made selecting individual standouts a real challenge.

👏 Mollie H
After returning to the team this summer, Mollie put in a superb performance on her second debut. She read the game brilliantly, combining aggression with calmness and composure. She was always ready to cover, mop up danger and put herself in the right place at the right time. A fantastic return to the team. 💪

👏 Elsie H
Another new addition this summer, Elsie showed exactly why we were so pleased to bring her into the squad. Calm, composed and always looking to move the ball into space, she gave us real control in midfield. She worked brilliantly with whoever she was paired with and played a huge part in the team’s performance. 👌

👏 Josie W
Another player who joined us recently, and today her quality was there for all to see. Work rate, quick feet, a lovely first touch, an excellent range of passing and a real eye for goal. Josie capped off a fantastic individual display with two wonderful goals. 🎯⚽️⚽️

⭐ Three outstanding performances from three fantastic additions to the squad.

The biggest compliment we can give all three is that they looked completely at home in this team today. 👏💙

TJFA U14 Girls Division 1
Guisborough Town 5–1 South Park Rangers Belles

After what felt like a very long wait, the eagerly anticipated start to the season finally arrived, with both sides looking to get their campaign off to the perfect start.

The Priorygirls started brightly and played some fantastic football from the opening whistle. Patient build-up and excellent attacking play created the first opportunity, with Darcie H making no mistake to put Guisborough ahead. ⚽️

The second goal came after another lovely piece of football. A perfectly weighted lofted ball found Mabel L, who controlled it brilliantly before calmly slotting home. ⚽️

Guisborough continued to create chances and the pressure told again, as captain Connie R saw her effort take a deflection and find the back of the net to make it 3–0. ⚽️

The fourth was arguably the pick of the bunch, with Josie W unleashing a fantastic long-range strike that flew into the net. ⚽️

The second half proved to be a much tougher test as South Park Rangers came out strongly and put us under sustained pressure. To their credit, SPR made us work hard.

But when the pressure came, our defence was outstanding. The girls showed tremendous resilience, defended their box brilliantly and protected the lead.

SPR eventually got the goal their pressure deserved after we failed to properly deal with a corner, making it 4–1.

The girls responded well and continued to work hard until the final whistle. Then, late in the second half, Josie W produced another brilliant long-range strike to put the game beyond doubt and complete the scoring. ⚽️

We were so happy for the girls after that performance. The whole team were excellent from back to front, defending calmly, playing some lovely football, creating a huge number of opportunities and showing real quality going forward.

A fantastic start to the season against a very competitive South Park Rangers side.

Credit to SPR for making us work hard throughout, and good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Huge praise to our girls for the quality, character and determination they showed. Every single one of them played their part, and we couldn’t be happier with their performance.

THE PRIORYGIRLS — 2026/27 SEASON READY!

The wait is almost over… the new season starts next week! ⚽️🔥

After a really positive pre-season, we’re so excited to finally get the competitive season underway with our TJFA U14 Girls Division 1 campaign.

The girls have put in some impressive performances throughout pre-season, showing great determination, togetherness and plenty of quality on the pitch.

Now it’s time to take all that preparation into the league. 💪

We can’t wait to see what this group can achieve together.
