This week’s Coaches’ Player of the Week goes to Alex 👏⚽️

Alex has shown a brilliant attitude in training, always looking to improve his game and take on new challenges. He took part in some specific goalkeeper training, stepping into a position he doesn’t normally play and he gave it his all! 🧤💪

That attitude continued into Sunday’s game, where Alex worked incredibly hard to be the best version of himself and do everything he could for the team. He made some solid saves and showed great determination throughout. ✨

That’s exactly the attitude we love to see! Keep working hard, Alex🦉💙

Today we faced Louth Football Club U12 Red. 🌟

It wasn’t our best performance, but there were some really good moments throughout the game, including finding the back of the net four times ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

There’s plenty for us to work on and improve, so it’s back to the drawing board. We’ll put the hours in at training, keep working hard and come back stronger 💪

🌟 PLAYER OF THE MONTH – AUGUST 🌟

A huge congratulations to Daniel, who has been named our Player of the Month for August! 👏🏆

Daniel is new to the Grey Owls, but he has fitted right in from day one. He has shown fantastic enthusiasm and a brilliant attitude, constantly encouraging his teammates — whether he’s on the pitch, on the sidelines or in training. 🦉💙

He has really been trying, listening and learning, working hard to improve both his football ability and his understanding of the game. We’ve also been really impressed with how he has taken on board our communication work and is putting it into practice whenever possible. 🗣️⚽️

Daniel, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Your attitude, effort and willingness to learn have been fantastic to see. 🤩
