We’ve had a couple of spaces become available in our Sunday Ducklings class for swimmers aged 3 years+ 💙

Our Ducklings sessions are a lovely introduction to independent swimming lessons, helping little swimmers develop their water confidence, independence and early aquatic skills in a positive and supportive environment.

Lots of encouragement, lots of little achievements and the beginnings of those all-important swimming skills. 🥰🏊‍♀️

These are just a couple of spaces, so if you’ve been thinking about getting your little one started, now is a great time!

💦 YOU ASKED… WE LISTENED! 💦

We’ve had quite a few parents asking about the back belts you see us using during lessons — so due to demand, we’ve ordered some that you’ll be able to purchase directly from us! 🙌🏊‍♀️

These are the same style of back belts we use within our lessons to support swimmers while they’re developing their confidence, independence and skills in the water. 💙

As we have to order them from abroad, we’re expecting them to arrive early October. 📦✈️

If you’d like one for your swimmer to use outside of lessons, just pop us a message and we’ll add you to our list and keep one aside when they arrive. 😊

What a brilliant start back we’ve had at Cleethorpes Swim Academy! 💙

It’s been lovely welcoming lots of new faces into our aquatic family, as well as seeing so many familiar faces returning ready for more progression, learning and confidence building! 🌊✨

We’ve also been busy moving some of our swimmers around as they continue to progress, which means we now have some great spaces available across ALL abilities! 🙌

Whether you have a little one taking their very first splash, a swimmer looking to develop their strokes and skills, or you’re an adult wanting to build confidence or improve your swimming — there’s a place for you at CSA. 💙

💙 **TEENAGERS - IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN TO SWIM.** 🏊‍♂️

Can your teenager swim confidently?

Perhaps they missed lessons when they were younger.
Maybe they never quite mastered swimming.
Or perhaps they can get themselves across a pool but don't feel confident in deeper water.

Whatever the reason -there is absolutely no embarrassment in learning now.

In fact, as teenagers become more independent, being able to swim becomes even more important.

Days out with friends, holidays, paddleboarding, trips to the beach... and, realistically, teenagers may find themselves around lakes, rivers and other open water with their friends.

We want them to have the skills and confidence to make safer choices if that happens. 💙

🏊 TEEN SWIMMING LESSONS AT CLEETHORPES SWIM ACADEMY

And don't worry... we know they're teenagers! 😄

These aren't children's lessons filled with games and activities designed for little ones.

Our teen sessions are structured, purposeful and age-appropriate, with a focus on:

💦 Learning and improving the swimming strokes
💦 Breathing and technique
💦 Building stamina and distance
💦 Deep-water confidence
💦 Floating and treading water
💦 Water-safety and self-rescue skills
💦 Building genuine confidence and independence

Whether they're starting from “I really can't swim”**, can swim a little but lack confidence, or simply want to become a stronger swimmer -we'll meet them where they are.

No judgement. No pressure. And definitely no need to feel embarrassed.

Because learning to swim isn't just another activity.

It's a life skill. 🛟

And at 12, 14, 16 or beyond...

🎂🌊 ERM… WE FORGOT OUR OWN BIRTHDAY! 😂 🎂

Apparently, when you're busy teaching hundreds of swimmers, answering approximately 7 million messages 🤣, training teachers, moving classes around, finding lost goggles and generally causing chaos around a swimming pool...

You forget you've been open for a WHOLE YEAR!🤦‍♀️😂
So...

🎉 HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO US! 🎉

Just over a year ago, Cleethorpes Swim Academy was basically...

💡 An idea
📝 A very long to-do list
⏰ Six weeks to make it happen
☕ Probably far too much caffeine..and a slightly questionable amount of confidence that we'd somehow pull it off. 😂

But we did.

And somehow, that little idea has turned into one BIG aquatic family. 💙

In just one year we've...

🏊 Helped swimmers become stronger
💙 Watched confidence absolutely SOAR
🛟 Talked (a lot! 😂) about water safety
💡 Explained the *why* behind what we teach
👏 Celebrated hundreds of little wins
🌊 And made a LOT of waves along the way!

We've had swimmers who wouldn't put their face in the water...
..who now jump in without a second thought.

And we've probably shouted...

“HEAD DOWN!”
“LONG LEGS!”
and
“ONE MORE TIME!”

more times than we'd care to count. 🤣

Are we everyone's cup of tea?

Probably not. ☕

And we're actually okay with that.

Because we're proud to care about the little things.

We're proud of our standards.
We're proud to be honest about progression.
We're proud to teach quality, not just distance.
And we're proud that our swimmers don't simply learn what to do - we want them and their families to understand why they're doing it too.

And Year Two?

Ohhhh... we've got plans. 👀

So to every single swimmer who has jumped, splashed, kicked, floated, laughed, occasionally cried 😂 and achieved with us...

And every parent who has trusted us, supported us and become part of our slightly crazy aquatic family...

When he first joined, he refused to even get into the pool for nearly six weeks. Tracey and her team showed him so much patience, kindness and understanding, allowing him to go at his own pace and build his confidence when he was ready.

Fast forward just six months and he is a completely different child! 💙

Always busy behind the scenes training the next generation of swimming teachers. 💪
