Established in 1979, our club boasts a rich history of developing skilled Judoka, catering for absolute beginners all the way to athletes competing at the highest levels.

Some of the team competed in the DNA Judo Competition in Sheffield at the weekend and all four medalled!

These lads at just 15 and 16 have only been on the mat a short time, but have been dedicated in their training and very keen to compete. One of the team had his first competition a few weeks ago and got silver, whilst this was the first competition for the other 3.

Riley Embley (Further right) had 8 fights and came away with a silver medal. Ali Elnahrawy 1st left, Fin Reed 2nd left, and Jacob Kendall 2nd from right all took bronze medals.

Terry couldn't be prouder of these lads who are just embarking on their judo journey! 👏
