Back in training tonight after a tough game last weekend.

This weekends JPL Warriors cup match is our first away fixture this season against Canoville

The girls will be working hard ready for another tough fixture 💙

🔵 On Saturday the girls hosted an excellent Leeds Utd team in the Jpl cup🏆

The girls started the game well, looking determined and dealing well with some early pressure from Leeds, going in at half time a couple of goals down but still well in the game
Unfortunately second half was a totally different game, we was 2nd to every ball, some sloppy goals conceded which made the score line an impossible task for us to get back into the game, some of the girls heads dropped which just summed up the second half performance!
A deserved victory for Leeds⚪️

A heavy defeat for the Borough girls but this means we can only improve and get better at this level,plenty to work on in training this week ready for Canoville away next weekend⚽️

Parents player- Sienna Bryan- A difficult task for sienna dealing with a lot of pressure from Leeds at the back but stood up well, didn’t stop running and made some important challenges👏🏻

Coaches player- Millie Bevis- One of very few players who put in a shift, didnt stop running, pressed from midfield when required, never gave up all game, and got stuck in💪🏻

It was the first JPL Warriors fixture for the girls today in the cup against a very good Hull City team ⚽️

The girls battled hard and pushed Hull for the full game, a couple of brilliantly well worked goals for Hull but also a couple of very costly errors on our side, which made it difficult for us to get back into the match!
In stages the girls played some good football and created a couple of brilliant chances. Ava Mason scored an excellent 25 yard strike but it was given offside from what happened during the build up.

⭐️A great effort from the girls today against a brilliant Hull City team who are competing in the premier division this season, a league above ourselves. Every game we are playing now the girls are always learning against these academy teams and each game we will get there⚽️🔵

Looked after herself today, created some great chances for the team and was unlucky for her goal not to stand⚽️
Parents player - Emily and Natalia
Emily was box to box today didn’t stop running for the team, got on the ball and tried looking for them right passes. Looking at Emily these past few weeks we can see how much of an important player she’s going to be for us this year!👏🏻
Natalia, as the game went along came into it and showed some great pressing, confidence travelling with the ball and showed her determination winning her individual battles⚽️🔵
