We know we’ve been a bit slack with these posts recently… but we’re back! 👀

The last few weeks have seen the Titans putting in some strong performances. There’s been some great football on display, really showing how the hard work in training is transferring into games. The development across the squad has been fantastic to see.

That said, we know there’s still more to come 👊 We’re excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds before we head into tournament season!

A big well done to all the players who have picked up Player of the Match recently – fully deserved. It’s brilliant to see everyone working towards the targets we set before each game and pushing their standards higher every week.

Two games in two days for the Titans! 💪⚽️

Sunday saw a tough test against a very good Discoveries team. The boys really had to work hard to play their football and were rewarded with some excellent goals. Oscar picked up Player of the Game for his hard work and for playing some great football while taking on the challenges put in front of him. 👏

Tonight we hosted a strong Humberston side. Another good game and a great test for the boys, with some superb football on show again and more quality goals.

Charlie earned Player of the Match for some excellent defending, staying calm on the ball and working hard off it too. 👏

A well-earned week off now after two games in two days — great effort, boys!

Today marks the end of the Futsal season for the Titans ⚽️

A period where the boys have shone week after week. So proud of the effort, attitude and hard work they’ve shown to develop and improve in this format of the game. It’s been fast-paced, full of energy, and they’ve scored some superb goals along the way.

Each and every boy can be proud of their indoor football season!

Now we head back outside, excited for the rest of the season ahead 💪⚽️

Grimsby Borough Titans U8s are back for 2026! ❤️⚽️

A superb first futsal game back; so proud of this team. Some fantastic football and brilliant teamwork on show from start to finish.

Special mention to Fred and Oscar, who picked up Player of the Match 👏 Both worked incredibly hard, scored quality goals, and did a great job bringing others into the game.

Well done boys! 💪

2026 is going to be an exciting year! 🌟

Week 2 of Futsal 🔥

The boys were back inside again for Futsal. Another week of superb football. Both teams played some good stuff and there were some good goals!

Today’s player of the match was shared between Abel and Alfie. Both players were the first to put their hands up at training last week to volunteer to go in goal whilst Arthur was having a well earned family get away. Added to that, they both got on the scoresheet too!

A superb end to a superb 2025 for the team. Progression has been evident throughout the calendar year and we go into 2026 excited for what’s ahead!

But first….our Christmas party awaits tomorrow 🧑‍🎄🎅🕺

Congratulations to Abel for finishing 3rd, a great achievement!

Futsal is back!

Yesterday we had our first futsal fixture of the winter season. It was an exciting game, with goals goals goals! The boys certainly put in a performance and it was a great start to the futsal season.

Harley was player of the match. He scored a couple of fantastic goals, but his overall game was outstanding. He worked so hard for his team, he made good decisions in possession and was a goal threat throughout! Well done Harley!

Wow! What a Monday evening session in the 💨 tonight!

Tonight’s focus was on reminding the boys of the laws of Futsal! All eyes looking ahead to the first indoor game of the season on Sunday. Least the boys will be warm!

A nice surprise for the boys to have first team player Edwin Essel down at the session. Ed was down observing for his university studies and was impressed with what he saw from the boys! The future!

First game of the season on the 3G today, and thank god after all the rain over the weekend!

What went ahead was an absolute superb game between us and Immingham Pilgirms. A game that had some superb football from both sides, played in great spirit. It’s nice when coaches from both teams can turn round and see subs from both teams playing together; laughing and joking!

Player of the Match went to Will today. He was relentless this week, all over the pitch trying to have a positive effect on the game. A thoroughly deserved player of the match, well done Will!

Yesterdays goals! 3 very different but very good goals!

Goal 1- Abel. Harley put pressure on the defender to make her pass across the goal. Abel showed patience to intercept the ball and then cool slotting it away under pressure!

Goal 2- Fred. After winning the free kick, we all knew Fred was going to shoot. After hitting a rocket a few weeks ago, he hit another giving the GK no chance!

Goal 3- Alfie. A true team goal, something we’ve worked on in training. A good pass out by Arthur to Fred, who was able to play into Mikei. Mikei showed great skill in a 1v1 to get a shot away. Alfie did what we’ve been asking, follow in shots. Good movement to be in the right place at the right time!
