A special well done to Millie coach’s player of the match worked tirelessly up and down the wing I asked Millie not to panic on the ball when crossing and take an extra touch to get it under control before delivering the ball and that’s exactly what she did , amazing at tracking back and winning the ball back for her team , well done Millie keep up the hard work.

Huge congratulations to our midfield star Alicia, who tonight won Crofts Estate Agents Youth Football League - Grimsby Young Referee of the Year 2025/26! 🏆⚽👏

What an incredible achievement and one she should be immensely proud of, because we certainly are! 🤜🤛

In her FIRST full season as a qualified referee, Alicia has shown outstanding growth, confidence, composure, and a brilliant understanding of the laws of the game. To step onto the pitch and make big decisions takes courage, knowledge, and character and Alicia has all three 💪📖🧠

Refereeing isn’t always easy, but it is absolutely vital. Without referees, there is no game 🙌

We love seeing our players grow not only as footballers, but as leaders within the game. Alicia’s future in football is incredibly bright, and this award is just the beginning 🌟

U14 south cave tournament today played some very good teams but it ended up a Europa league final between both our clee teams, with the reds ultimately winning on pens 👏🏻 a great advertisement for clee brilliant performance from both teams.

The new season will be our season to shine 🌟🌟

U16's travelled to South Cave today for their 6 a side tournament

Their manager said this...

After a slow start the girls picked up and got in their groove qualifying for the Europa Cup. To win the cup they'd have to beat some seriously talented teams, Tickton Tornado's in the semi looked tough but the girls came out in top 2-1.

Onto the final where we came up against Clee Town Tillets, again really tough but again we managed to secure a 2-1 win.

Well done girls, you're amazing 👏

🔵⚽️🔵 CLEE TOWN U9 🔵⚽️🔵

Our under 9s went over the bridge to the South Cave Tournament yesterday and what a day they had.

Their manager said ....
It was a non competitive Tournament so weve kept our own scores to see where we stood and weve ended up 3rd out of 6 in the group with 3 points separating us , North Ferriby and Chanterlands.

Not knowing what to expect against teams weve never played against before the girls came flying out of the blocks with 3 wins on the bounce scoring 8 and conceding only 2 goals.

Unfortunately in the 4th game Chanterlands were too strong for us but it wasnt thru lack off effort coming from two down to level before the opposition got away from us.

The 5th game of the day see us face Ferriby who went a few up before the girls managed to bring it back to level the game, another minute or so and they'd have taken the win.

So 3 wins 1 draw and a defeat from the day with the defeat costing us from unofficially topping the group.

The progress this group has made in the last few months is incredible and much more to come im sure 🦉🦉🦉

🔵⚽️🔵 CLEE TOWN U12 🔵⚽️🔵

Girls girls girls!!! What a fantastic performance again from you all today!! The team we played today will be going into their 3rd season and we have been playing 5 months! That shows how we are improving week in and week out and why the intense training really is starting to come through

We went in today with the mindset of "we can do this" and we showed that all through the game.

It was a nail biting game where for the first 5 mins they were taking shots and dominating but our strong defence line held it well and kept pushing back, a fantastic penalty from Izzy made us ⚽️ 1 - 0 up early into the game where we then got into attack mode and Emilia ⚽️ scored us the 2nd goal before half time.

We came back super strong, with a different formation but sadly we just didn't battle as much and 3 goals were conceded. Heads up high we went and a nail biting penalty awarded to us, Emilia took the opportunity to score ⚽️

Nail biting game or what!! Everyone put in a great shift today, worked hard as a team and kept the faith to come back! Drawing 3-3

Georgie - you began your football journey quiet, shy to tackle and sometimes scared to go near the ball, today was a different Georgie, that ball was yours, the space around the ball you owned and the energy up and down the wings was ace to see. Your confidence is growing with every touch of the ball and I want to see that each week now. Well done Georgie!!
Sophia - Fantastic effort, everything us coaches encourage you to do - you showed us today you can do it! You battled for that ball and when you got that ball you made the correct choices to get it out of danger, you worked hard on that pitch giving 100% effort and chasing it down...well done!!!
Thalia - Thalia you put in a shift week after week and never get recognition for it, you are the first defender straight in to press, delay and then get the ball out of danger! You are so resilient with great knowledge and skill holding that line, its phoneminal too see. Well done!!

You all played amazing today, can't fault any of you at all, such a great team who strive to be better each week and hungry to give it all you got on the pitch

Tonight our now under 9s came up against Keelby u10s in a friendly at Clee Fields and what a performance the girls have put in.

Going two goals up early on before Keelby pulled one back with a powerful strike the girls soon got going again with another three goals to settle the game , our passing game and defensive performance was our best to date with the girls at the back limiting the opposition to two shots on goal in the full 40min.

🏆Player of the match could have gone to any of tonights 8 players but the supporters have chosen Aliyah for a brilliant game and well taken goal and some assists for Maisie who's chipped in with four goals 🏆

🏆Managers has gone to Autumn who showed that shes taken on board what weve asked of her in training and its paid off with her best performance so far.🏆
