Brady Part 2

This is another interesting clip from Tom Brady talking about an adductor issue he had during his career.

He explains how he was advised to have surgery, but after speaking to his therapist, he decided to try hands-on manual therapy first.

According to Tom, it resolved the issue without needing surgery.

Whether you’re an elite athlete or someone who trains a couple of times a week, I think it’s a great reminder that looking after your body shouldn’t only start when something goes wrong.

Every injury is different and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, but I always find it interesting hearing how some of the world’s best athletes have used manual therapy throughout their careers.

Highly Recommended Business 2026 award from Fresha is something I’m incredibly proud of. 🏆

When I first started JP Sports Massage, I honestly never imagined I’d be here.

There were days where I’d be up before 5am for a 6am-4pm shift at Lidl, then straight out to see mobile clients until 10pm, travelling all over Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire. It was exhausting at times, but I knew I was building something I genuinely believed in.

Fast forward to today, and seeing 382 five-star reviews and receiving this award is a reminder that all the hard work, long days and sacrifices were worth it.

To every single client who has booked a treatment, left a review, recommended me to friends or family, or simply put their trust in me… thank you. None of this would be possible without your continued support, and I’m incredibly grateful that you choose me to be part of your recovery and performance journey.

A special thank you has to go to my mum. She believed in me from day one, supported me through every stage of the journey, and helped create the home clinic that has allowed the business to grow into what it is today. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

This client spent 9 sessions with a physio with minimal relief.

One session of targeted manual therapy unlocked the breakthrough he needed.

Why? Because you can’t train through severe restriction.

My approach isn’t just about rubbing muscles; it’s about looking closely at your structural imbalances.

I use a variety of specialized manual techniques to release the tissues so you can actually achieve the Range of Motion (ROM) needed to execute your exercises correctly.

Exercise is a crucial part of the puzzle, but if you can’t physically get into the right positions in the first place, you’re just spinning your wheels. Restore the ROM first, then build the strength.

They have to work hand in hand. 💪

Heavy squats require heavy recovery. Today I’m working out some serious quad tension for my PT—proving that even the trainers need training (and a lot of breathing through the pain).
