Scratby B beat Bracecamp C by 47 points in the League Cup. David Binns did particularly well winning all his matches. Well played everyone!

First match in the League Cup saw the two “heavyweights” from Division 1 going head to head!

A really close match saw ENX edge the result by 26 points. Well played everyone!!!

Great to have Oddbods joining the League, a fantastic addition.

Looking forward to seeing the League meetings too between the two teams, it’ll be close.

And that’s a wrap! A fantastic evening to kick off the season with 21 players taking part in the Dickie Moore Cup.

All three tables were used at Bracecamp Hall, with the players divided into three groups. The winner of each group, plus the best runner up then progressed through to the semi final.

Martyn Clarke played David Willgoss in the first semi final, with Martyn winning to reach the final again - could he make it two on the trot?

Darren played Carl, with Carl claiming his place in the final. Nice to see both Carl and Ian returning to the League, both excellent players.

The final saw great quality table tennis, with the mighty leftie Martyn again claiming the Dickie Moore Cup for the second year in succession. Congratulations Martyn.

Thanks to everyone for their support and here’s to a brilliant 2026/27 season.

And so it begins! Our 2026/27 season kicks off tomorrow with the Dickie Moore Cup. No handicaps, so Division 1 and Division 2 players will play each other on a level playing field. Will Martyn Clarke retain the trophy? We will see tomorrow! Looking forward to a bumper turnout

It’s getting closer! Our first tournament of the year, the Dickie Moore Cup kicks off on the 8 September. It is great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Stride, on Sunday 14th June 2026.

Gary played table tennis in our league for many years and was a valued committee member and webmaster. He will be sadly missed. The funeral will be Wednesday 15th July at 1pm at Green Acres, Colney Wood, Watton Road, NR4 7TY.
