The club has x2 new sponsors to welcome to the family 🤝🏻👊🏻💙, with 1 of these being a sponsor to a Premier League club.

1st off we have CMC Markets who is sponsoring this seasons new 1st Team away/3rd kit (pics to follow) and next season and beyond 1st Team home kit. CMC Markets are in partnership with Premier League club Everton Football Club and sit on the front of their kits as their main sponsor.
We were lucky enough to gain this sponsorship through a competition the Gaffer entered through Kitlocker and we won x2 new kits in which CMC Markets will be the front sponsors of the kits💙💪🏻.

MATCH REPORT & PICS FOR 1ST TEAM vs Shrublands FC RES & MATCH REPORT FOR DEVS vs OULTON UNITED WITH PICS TO FOLLOW 5/9/26

1st Team:
On our opening game of the season and with a great pre season behind them the lads was in for a tough test against a strong Shrubs team at home.
The Gaffer spoke to the lads, set his team up and told them to go do their jobs.
It was a nervey opening few mins for both sides with them both having early chances. Regan made a couple of late tackles early in and was told 1 more he is in the book then few mins later he was in the book🟨. The ref was keeping a close eye and on about 20ish mins Regan was off 🟨🟨=🟥🤦🏻‍♂️. A clumsy challenge saw Regan trip his man, landing on him and it looked like he dislocated his ankle. Wasn't a bad tackle but because of the clumsiness of it and his previous couple leading to his booking the ref showed him a 2nd yellow and was gone.
Now this was a massive task for the lads but they were ready for the challenge ahead. Both teams created moments but it was so stop start. Charlie.O then pulled up and the task was made even harder but half time soon came around.
The Gaffer said what he needed to say at the break, made a positive change in bringing Lopes on for Henry and we set out with our task of being the team that scores 1st.
We created some decent chances and was playing great football and midway through the half Lopes was played through ran onto the ball and coolly slotted past the oncoming GK from around 25 yards out only for the lino to flag!! The ref went over, their was a little chat then, GOOOOOOOOAL!!
Our clubs all time top goal scorer put us ahead. Now the Gaffer got on some more fresh legs in Harley and Will and both slotted in straight away and contributed massively.
Now with about 5 mins left Shrubs hit the crossbar with an absolute thunderbolt but luck was on our side and the final whistle went 🙏🏻👊🏻💪🏻.
Final score: AFC 1-0 Shrublands
Goal scorer: Lopes
M.O.M was Charlie Adams who ran his nuts off and covered most of the pitch aswell as sitting back at times and keeping us in the game but the whole team all put in the hard work and done what was needed. From Chris in the sticks to the stickers each player showed every bit of heart they had out there and we are bloody proud of them 💙.
Unlucky to Shrublands on a hard fought battle and speedy recovery to your player. Hopefully it's not as bad as fear 🙏🏻.

Devs:
With the Devs also at home vs a strong Oulton United 1st Team side we was looking for a great weekend with both teams getting the win but this wasn't to be. The Devs was out played and outclassed in the 1st half going in 3-0 down but after some changes made by Bazza and the lads pulling together the lads come out fighting in the 2nd half and after winning a penalty late on in the game, Ollie stepped up and scored his 1st goal for the club and showing that the lads are willing to fight to the end but that they need to come out fighting from the start.
Final score: AFC 1-3 Oulton United
Goal scorer: Ollie
M.O.M was Ben who had a solid game in the middle of the pitch and tried to lead the lads 💪🏻💙.
Well done to Oulton United who deserved the win and will see you again during the season.

So a mixed weekend for the club. A great win for the 1st Team showing great grit and determination and unlucky to the Devs who will know that a bad start can make it that bit harder for you as a team but showed excellent work rate and fight in 2nd half to know that can hold their own.

This weekend 1st Team are away to Mutford & Wrentham Football Club with the Devs at home again vs Kessingland FC. Both 2pm KO times.

IT'S GAME DAY!!!! 💙👊🏻💪🏻⚽️

So the season begins today with both teams at home.
The 1st Team have a very tough opening fixture.in Div 1 vs local rivals Shrublands FC Res in what should be a cracking game. They will be wearing their new home kit with the club lucky enough to win x2 kits through Kitlocker 👊🏻💪🏻. A lovely Navy blue New Balance home kit and a new Nike away kit. The home kit is for next season but we have had to wear it today as Devs in the 1st Team home kit as they are awaiting their new home kit to finish at printers 🖨.
Our new away kit colour remains a surprise but it is an absolute cracker 👀👀👊🏻💪🏻🤝🏻.
The Devs kick off their season with another tough fixture in Div 2 vs Oulton United 1st in a game the lads know they have to dig deep.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible supporting the lads and a reminder that supporters have to stand behind the rope areas on the opposite side of the pitch this season.
If you can't make the game hopefully we see you down the Windmill for a drink after 🍺🍻.

MATCH REPORT AND PICS FOR 1ST TEAM vs MFA (KIRKLEY & PAKEFIELD VETS) 30/8/26

The 1st Team had an end of pre season treat getting to play on Walmer Road, the home to Kirkley & Pakefield Football Club and we were in for a treat. Lovely weather on the day and with their chairty day in full swing their was plenty of people watching.
With the 1st remaining unbeaten throughout pre season the Gaffer set them a tough task of finishing unbeaten against a very good Vets side.
The Gaffer gave the armband for the game to young Harley who has more than proved his worth with the lads and has a big future in football ahead 💙👊🏻💪🏻.
The game was entertaining with both sides having chances but the young legs and spirit of our lads saw us control large parts of the game and come away with the win.
Final score: AFC 2-0 MFA
Goal scorers were Tom again after only being on 5 mins (he did call it) and Di with a debut goal and top performance.
M.O.M was the whole team who all put in a great performance and finished pre season undefeated, playing 7, winning 6 & drawing 1 💙👊🏻💪🏻. Now we need to take this into the season ahead starting this week vs Shrublands FC Res, at Mill Lane, 2pm KO. With both teams at home let's make it a good start to the season.
Thank you to MFA for hosting and letting us get to play on a carpet before we go back to playing on Mill Lane 🤣🤣, absolute top guys 👊🏻💪🏻 and thank you for your kind words towards our lads and management team and like we spoke about these games will continue for a long time 🤝🏻👊🏻💙.

Honestly proud as punch with the 1st Team lads and the effort they have put into pre season with the training they have all done & games, scoring loads of goals and being a lot tighter at the back and going whole of pre season unbeaten was no easy task but you have all proved you want it. Now like say we need to do it when it matters.

MATCH REPORT AND PICS FOR DEVS vs Martham Football Club RES 29/8/26

The Devs travelled over to Martham to play a young and hungry Martham Res. We took a mixed XI over last season and lost narrowly so we knew the Devs had a tough task.
Martham was more hungry and eager and they controlled the game from the start. They were much quicker, sharper and linked the play up well. There was a big difference in performances and hunger by them and this is why we made it clear to the Devs about pre season and pushing on but unfortunately if you can't get a good pre season in you and fulfill all your fixtures it's always going to be hard but the standards have been set throughout the club, from the Chairman, the management teams and the 1st Team who have had a great pre season (more on this to come) and after that performance I think the lads get the picture now.
Final score: AFC Devs 0-3 Martham Res
M.O.M was Charlie.O
Well done to Martham who absolutely deserved the win and best of luck for the season ahead.

So Devs finished pre season on a low and know that they have to work more together, get to training and put the effort in like some that have.
Season starts this weekend with the Devs vs Oulton United 1st, at Mill Lane, 2pm KO.
