What is a Biomechanics Coach?

As a Biomechanics Coach, I assess how your body moves to identify asymmetries, joint dysfunctions, movement compensations, and areas that may be limiting performance, efficiency, mobility, strength, and resilience.

Whether you're an athlete looking to run faster, lift heavier, improve your mobility, or simply move more efficiently in everyday life, the way your body moves matters.

I don't simply look at where a problem appears to be. I look at how the entire body is working together.

Once we've identified movement restrictions, weaknesses, or compensations, I create an individualised programme of mobility, activation, and strengthening exercises designed to improve movement quality, restore function, and help your body perform more efficiently.

Biomechanics coaching isn't just for people in pain.

It's for anyone who wants to:

These lines across my nails are called Beau's lines. You can see lines/dints!

They appeared after my surgery and are a visible reminder that the body keeps score.

When the body experiences significant stress—whether that's illness, injury, surgery, trauma, grief, burnout, or prolonged emotional stress—it prioritises survival. Things that aren't essential for immediate survival, like nail growth, can temporarily slow down or stop.

Weeks or even months later, the evidence grows out for us to see.

It's a reminder that healing isn't always something we can measure by how we feel on a given day. Long after the wound has closed, the cast has come off, or life appears to have returned to normal, the body may still be recovering.

Recovery isn't weakness. Fatigue isn't laziness. Needing time isn't failure.

Our bodies are constantly adapting, protecting, and healing—even when we can't see it.

Sometimes the proof is right there at our fingertips.
