A new season brings a fresh start, We’re excited to announce that Great Paxton FC's pre-season training begins on Thursday 2nd July @ 6:15pm

After a couple of challenging seasons, Manager Glen Grimes is looking firmly ahead, Putting the past behind us and leading the club into a new era with fresh ideas, Renewed energy and a positive new approach both on and off the pitch.

Whether you're a returning player, new to the area, or looking for a new challenge, Now is the perfect time to get involved and be part of an exciting journey at the club.

Both committees wil have general members who can get on board as and when to support the club/teams

Both teams will be working together in fundraising and development of the Rec.

GPFC held its AGM last night.

After a turbulent few seasons it has been decided that we no longer have a 1st and Reserves.

We are still the GPFC but two committees with 2 teams.

We introduce Gt Paxton and Paxton UTD.

Glen Grimes will be Paxton Manager
Ross George will be United Manager

Pre season for both will continue in coming weeks.

Much work is going on behind the scenes in the lead up to pre season and the new season ahead.

This a new position for the club to be in so bare with us as we navigate that.

Heading into the last game of the season for The Whippets. The Ressies make a long journey to Burwell

It’s not been a great season for The Whippets this year on the pitch. Struggling to get teams together at times and games being called off.

It’s meant some changes will occur over the close of the season and these will be announced and shared as things are finalised and agreed.

Our AGM is the end of this month with a date to be advertised.

The club would love to have more support off the pitch to help run and if anyone is interested please get in touch with Raqi at The Bell.

Let’s hope the Ressies can end on a high!

To start your Saturday off why not watch Gt Paxton Panthers at 1030am down at the Rec Ground in a cup semi final.

Pop to Perky Beans grab a coffee, grab a take away bacon bap from The Bell or grab a snack from Paxton Community shop. All are open.

Then at 2pm the club has managed to get two teams out and the Ressies are at home and the 1st team travel a short distance to Eynesbury Rovers, also 2pm KO

The Bell pub will be open still to take drinks down there and watch.

The 1st team travelled to Newmarket to play Eagle FC with just 11 players due to couple of late drop outs.
They came away losing 1-0

The Ressies made the short journey to the Rec Ground against Willingham

They went 2-0 down but managed to bring it back with goals from Ollie Cook and Danny Love Fulton.

Back to training Wednesday and only one game next weekend.
