Ask yourself why you are looking for it to feel easy?
Easy doesn’t make you better.
Keep levelling up.

Hold the vision.
Why do I love working out?
Because I want to beat myself. I want to beat the version of me who couldn’t do it yesterday, last week, last month or last year.
I’m all good with that long term investment in myself.
I’m all good with that taking time. I’m good with eating right, training hard, staying inspired and enjoying the feeling of accomplishment in my workouts. I’m good with that lifestyle.
You’ll never succeed at getting stronger and fitter if you just want it fast. Stop looking for a quick fix.
Why are you in a rush?
Invest time. Be patient. Enjoy the process.

— T H E E A R T H I S O U R G Y M —
Whilst for some, gyms reopening was epic news, equally, many didn’t feel comfortable to rush back.
For myself and my team, when lockdown hit we carried on training together via Zoom... we made the necessary adaptions and used what resources we had. When we could progress outdoors, we did so. For over 12 weeks now we have developed a solid outdoor training routine that not only works, but is getting my clients AWESOME results.
I can proudly say we made a path that worked for us and it still does. As a team, my clients can feel confident that I have their back to always adapt our training, as and when necessary, in these unknown times.

If you’re not ready to go back to a gym yet, outdoor training is awesome and has soooo many physical and mental health benefits. Outdoors, our training options are endless and exciting!

— H I G H S & L O W S —
Today’s run felt tough. It felt slow, sluggish, heavy and not enjoyable.
I say this, not to moan, but to share the fails as well as the wins.
Not EVERY workout or training session will leave you on a high. Some days you’ll feel disappointed with your performance. You’ll analyse and know you could’ve done better. It’s frustrating... but you know what? It’s part of the journey.
I wanted an easy sub 50 today. I struggled and got 52. It felt like a fail.
But there’s a lesson in everything. This week has been full on for me. I’ve had stress, I’ve had to do work for my business that has taken me away from being able to PT on the front line. I’ve made investments in my business growth which is scary in an ever changing industry at the moment. I’ve not eaten right or slept right. And it all showed in my performance today.
I’m not going to feel sad about that, because it’s forever a lesson. I KNOW food is fuel and sleep is precious and this week I’ll be back to prioritising that.
I KNOW progress isn’t linear. And I’m happy to experience that first hand. Every workout is a lesson.
Sub50.... next time I’ll be so ready for you that I promise you, you’ll feel like a walk in the park.
