Some people say.. “Gymnasts can’t be footballers..& Footballers can’t be Gymnasts” - Well that’s not true! Our very own Senior Elite Gymnast Skyla has been training at EEGC since around 2020 and has juggled between the two sports.

The commitment it takes to attend your gymnastics session, warm up, stretch, learn routines etc… leave (midway through) to then go train for football, then come back and do a further 2 hours training back at gymnastics is amazing!

Today you received another moment in the spotlight “Managers Player” 🤩 it’s incredible and well deserved!

Keep being the incredible Gymnast AND Footballer you are! Congratulations 🖤🖤🖤

💎DIAMOND PROFIENCY SCHEME 💎

Over the past month Gymansts of Essex Elite Gymnastics Club have taken part in an incredible assessment of their Strength and conditioning, Flexibility and Indivdiual Skills.

8 Levels varying in degree of advancement and complexity.

Unfortunately most proficiency schemes are not tailored to the gymnasts and are very generalised or to be completed once only. The gymnast then receives a badge. This is where ours is different our coaching team carefully curates our scheme with yearly changes and amendments to ensure a constant clear progression with a reward of multiple medals and trophies.

699 awards have been achieved and handed out to our fantastic members for completing our Diamond Proficiency Scheme.

Every gymnast who took part should be extremely proud of what you achieved, I know we are as a club.

Thank you to my fantastic Coaches who trained the gymnasts over the 4 week period and completed over 150 assessments.
