We are looking for a full time experienced groom to join our friendly team in Caythorpe
NG32 3HD

You must:
🔹Be confident handling all horses
🔹Be able to work at a good speed and show initiative
🔹Be completely reliable

Bonus if you can ride and clip but not essential.

Normally 7:30am-4:30pm Mon - Fri with one working weekend a month.

Pay dependant on experience and opportunity to bring own horse. We have excellent facilities and shows on site.

Good to get everyone together last night for our Summer BBQ and rounders match. Sometimes it’s really nice to do stuff without horses.

So very lucky to have this, anyone on livery here can use all arenas with no need to book

Our 22x45m indoor arena has a had a fresh load of water and a quick level today.

It is an absolute godsend in the winter as let’s face it which arenas don’t freeze.

Through the summer months it still provides a safe 4 walls and somewhere to ride in the shade.

Well done to everyone competing today. Some really lovely horses.

I hope everyone got qualifying scores who needed them. Talk about cutting it fine😅, although I think the weather has had a lot to do with that !

Not content with 3 outdoor arenas and 1 indoor, we’ve now built a grass arena for the summer months.

We are planning to have a mix of working hunter, showjumps and a dressage arena for everyone to use

❗️IMPORTANT UPDATE ❗️

As many of you may already know, the Riding Academy will be ceasing trade as of 21st March. This has not been a decision made lightly.

We have always run our riding school with strong morals, ethics, and horse welfare at the heart of everything we do. One of the main reasons for this decision is that several of our horses and ponies are now due to retire from school life—some of whom have been with us since the very beginning. Sadly, there simply isn’t enough funding available to replace them.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful customers and clients for your continued support over the years.

I would also personally like to thank our staff and grooms, and our instructors Helen and Michelle, for their tireless work, exceptional coaching, and unwavering dedication.

While the riding school will be closing, the Academy will continue to provide lessons for riders with their own horses and ponies, with some exciting events to be announced very soon.
