All you dudes and dudettes out there ,
Please make sure you are paying attention to the wind and weather conditions before you set off on a SUP at the beach. Check the tides, the wind and weather for the day. I’m always happy to share any advise and would rather a call to ask then wish you had. The RNLI have some great advice out there as do British Canoeing .
Take a phone in a waterproof case
Look at the weather
Look at the tides ( Surfline app) remember as the tide is going out the water is travelling up the coast toward Caister. As it’s coming up the beach, the water is travelling toward Lowestoft.
Never paddle in offshore winds ( that means when it’s blowing straight out to sea)
And are you dressed appropriately??
Do you have a B/A on ? Leash ?
Stay safe east coasters
Big love ❤️
