Howden Warhorses Basketball Club This is the information and contact page for Howden Warhorses Basketball Club. We are soon to open our doors to the first training sessions.

We are the newest basketball team for boys and girls aged 12 and under in Yorkshire. We will train on Thursday evenings at Howden High School between 5:30 and 7pm. All are welcome regardless of ability or previous experience so come and join us for a free taster session! Get in contact for more details. We are Basketball England registered and ERCAS registered. We currently have players from aged

7 to 11. We are always looking for volunteers to help grow the club so if you are willing to help we can offer you training to become a coach, an official or just a club helper! If you have experience and are looking to get back into these roles just get in contact we will welcome you back to the game :-)

Warhorses are delighted to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Beech Restaurants Ltd who own franchises in Goole & Selby. Beech Restaurants Ltd have agreed to sponsor our Adult Learning Disability Friends team, and pay facility hire for the whole year! We are very grateful to them for this generous support, allowing us to continue to keep the sessions free to any adults with a learning disability to come along and join us on Sundays 10 - 11am at The Read School in Drax. Tournament Champions! 🏆

What an incredible performance from our young squad last weekend! Bringing together players from Years 4 through to 8, the team took on some tough competition — facing 3 teams from Lincoln, 2 from Grimsby, and 1 from Hull.

An unbeaten run to take the tournament win!

Every single player played their part, showing fantastic teamwork, determination, and effort throughout. This builds brilliantly on our recent win against Leeds, and we couldn’t be prouder of how the team is developing.

👏 Huge well done to everyone involved!
