If you haven’t seen, we're hosting three events over the weekend of 27 & 28 June.
🇬🇧 British Paraclimbing Championships
🇬🇧 British Speed Climbing Series (Round 3)
🏴 Team England Lead Development Squad Training Camp
We’re super stoked to be hosting these, but as a heads up it does mean there'll be some restrictions in C2. Full details are listed below, but work and closures will be in place the week before and after. However, any short-term inconvenience will be greatly rewarded as there will be loads of awesome new routes left afterwards! 😍
The Where, What & When…
🟢 OUTSIDE WALL: Work will start for the Paraclimbing Championships from Monday 22 with Lines 87-98 being closed off all that week. These will reopen Sunday 28 June however please note there will then be limited availability during the daytime until approx. 5pm Thursday 02 July whilst we infill the routes.
🟢 PROW: Lines 46-54 will be closed for the England Lead Development squad from Wednesday 24 and will reopen in the evening of Monday 29 June but again there will be limited availability in the daytime until approx. 5pm Thursday 2 July whilst we infill.
🟢 SPEED WALL: Both lanes will be closed to the public for Round 3 of the British Speed Series Championships on Saturday 27 until around 7pm.
The rest of C2 - all other walls (inc. outside Lines 77-86), the auto belay balcony and boulder comp wall - will remain open as usual, as does all of C1, B2 & B1!
More details on the timings of the Para & Speed events will be confirmed during the coming days however we expect the Para qualis to start from 10am with the finals at 5pm, and the Speed quails will be from 1pm and the finals at 2.30pm.
