We can confirm that Tao Stark will be leaving the club following a mutual agreement to terminate her contract early.

The Finnish midfielder joined City in January and made her debut against Partick Thistle in a 3-0 victory. She went on to make four appearances for the club, leaving with a Sky Sports Cup winners medal.

Tao had the following message for City supporters:

"I’ve really enjoyed my time at City. It’s a great club with fantastic teammates and I’ve learned a lot during my time here. I’m grateful for all the memories and experiences, and I’d like to wish everyone around the club all the very best for the future. "

We thank Tao for her efforts and contributions to the team. We wish her the best of luck for her future endeavours and will always be welcomed back at The Peasy.

Dryburgh Athletic Women are delighted to announce that Rebecca Lonie will return for the 2026/27 SWF Championship season.

The midfielder has made 65 appearances, scoring three times since progressing through the youth pathway.

Bex really established herself as a key player last season, providing a string of assists towards the end of the campaign. We’re thrilled to see her back once again next season and look forward to seeing her kick on even further.

Huntly FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of talented midfielder Daisy Wilson from Stoneywood Parkvale Women ahead of our debut season in Barclays Scottish Women’s Football League One.

Daisy joins the club having previously represented Colony Park, Inverurie Locos and most recently Stoneywood Parkvale Women. A hardworking and technically gifted midfielder, Daisy will add quality, energy and competition to our squad as we prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.

The Wilson name is already well known around Christie Park, with Daisy being the daughter of former Huntly FC player and assistant manager Tommy Wilson. We are delighted to welcome Daisy to the club and continue that family connection with Huntly FC.

Manager Raymond Henderson commented:

“We are delighted to bring Daisy to Huntly FC Women. She is a player we have admired for some time and someone we believe will be a fantastic addition to our midfield. Daisy has gained valuable experience throughout her career and possesses the qualities we look for both on and off the pitch. We are excited to see her continue her development with us as we enter our first season in League One.”
