Good news — there’s still a place for you in competitive football.

Fife Fryers FC are looking to add players to our 11-a-side squad for upcoming league fixtures.

We’re a well-run team that trains weekly and competes regularly in the Warriors Football Association league, offering proper matches, structured training, and a supportive squad environment.

Eligibility criteria:
✅ 18+ years old
✅ BMI of 30 or above
✅ Waist size 38”+ (belly button to belly button)
✅ No ex-professionals

📍 Training:
🗓 Thursdays
⏰ 8:00pm – 10:00pm
📌 Fleet Grounds, Rosyth

🏆 Matches:
⚽ League games every other Sunday

Fryers Sundays!!! 🩷🖤🩷

A Cracking Day out as the Fife Fryers FC started their new season with an away trip to the new Home of the Carron Huskies Community Football Club.

A tight little pitch & some sweltering heat for both teams to contend with, but it’s good to get back to playing competitive 11 a-side action against & with some fresh faces.
4 competitive debuts for the Fryers with all the new guys doing well & putting in a shift for the cause.

Impeccable Minutes silence held before the game by all in attendance in memory of the Dundee Discovery FC ex player Ben “Serge” Colgan who sadly is no longer with us.

Condolences from all in the Fife Fryers set up!!

Fryers started the game well with McManus progressing well down the wing, firing dangerous balls across the face of goal. A mixture of good defending, brave goalkeeping & some outstretched limbs, just not getting a telling touch to give the Fryers the lead in the game their play in the opening exchanges probably deserved.

The breakthrough did come before the first of multiple water breaks when link up play between Mikey & Graham, Resulted in the ball being fed into Cammy Greenhorn’s feet, he’s held off his man and knocked a great weight of pass into the path of the oncoming Fryers Forward & Farmers gobbled up his first goal of the season by striking the ball low & hard into the bottom corner of the Huskies goal past the ourstretched keepers reach to open the scoring for the boys from Fife.

The Huskies offered some dangerous high & long balls in behind and some ridiculously long & high kicks from their keeper for the chaps at the back to contend with, which they did very well.

Was a day for defenders though as real clear cut chances for either team were hard to come by on the day.

Great Shift, difficult conditions.

Super defending, communication & a new goalkeeper confident in commanding his area keeping the Huskies threat under wraps.

Man of the Match went to the Fryers new Goalie, clean sheets are hard to come by & you worked hard for it Joe, Well done, commanded your area well, kicked confidently, outstanding first shift in the sticks mate 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The Fryers Kicked off Pre-Season in Sunny Dundee against Championship new boys Dundee West FFIT FC.

Cracking Game, some class goals.
Game played in good sprits.
Fryers found themselves 3 goals down in the match, but rallied to go ahead with 10 mins to go, ultimately coming away with a 4-5 Victory on the day.

The best of luck to the home team going forward…. looking forward to playing again in February when the sides are scheduled to meet again.🤝
