Crewe United F.C. (Official) Crewe United Football Club was formed in County Antrim in 1963. We have been affiliated to the Irish Football Association for over 30 years.

Within a short space of time the club acquired its own ground in Glenavy, fifteen miles outside the City of Lisburn and twenty-five miles from Belfast. Over the years Crewe worked its way up the football structures and currently play in Northern Ireland’s Mid Ulster Intermediate League. The club has developed Crewe Park over many years to make it a football venue for all the community and boasts some of the best facilities is local football with two grass pitches and a 3G training pitch as well as a fantastic clubhouse. The club has senior men's and ladies teams as well as underage team which take part in the IFA Small Sided Games and the Belfast Youth League. Our aim is to provide the best facilities and environment for kids to just enjoy football. Like any other club Crewe has had success and failure on the pitch, but there is something that sets our club apart. We aim to bring all sides of the community together through the medium of football. Crewe has sought to develop understanding and respect and to be tolerant of differences, whilst acknowledging common characteristics and interests. Throughout the troubled history of Northern Ireland Crewe has been a leading light in showing that football can bring a commonality and shared interest that no other medium, and very few other clubs could provide.

We bowed out of the Clearer Water Irish Cup following a narrow 1–0 defeat away to Shankill United.

It was a closely contested cup tie, with very little separating the two sides over the course of the 90 minutes. Shankill managed to find the decisive goal, while Crewe battled right until the final whistle in search of a way back into the game.

Despite pushing for an equaliser late on, it wasn’t to be for Crewe, with the hosts holding on to secure their place in the next round.

A disappointing result, but plenty of effort from the lads and attention now turns back to the next fixture.

Full-Time: Lower Maze 1–6 Crewe United

Crewe United came away with all three points after a convincing 6–1 victory on the road against Lower Maze.

After taking a lead into the break, Crewe really took control in the second half with a ruthless spell of goals that put the game beyond the hosts.

Lower Maze managed to pull one back, but Crewe responded again late on to round off an excellent away performance.

Six goals, three points and a great result on the road. 🔴⚪⚽
